Beautiful Disaster

Fourty-two

            Third Person POV

Leaving the bunker Finn and Clarke took refuge in once the fog cleared, they eventually made it back to Abby, Raven and the others. Abby moves pulling Clarke into a hug as soon as she sees her.

"Bellamy, Kayleigh and Octavia?" Clarke questions not seeing them

Abby shook her head, "They know the rendezvous here." giving Finn a pointed look. "The Blakes will keep her safe."

"Well have you tried to radio?"

"Still jammed." Raven says coming so stand next to them

"You didn't blow the tower." Clarke said confusingly

"Raven found a way that we could listen to Mount Weather. If we took out the antenna we wouldn't be able to do that." Abby said pulling Clarke's attention back on her

"What about the other Ark stations?"

"We don't know if they made it, what we do know is that 47 of our people are being held prisoner in that mountain. We're gonna get them out." And Clarke pulls her mom in for another hug, gratefully that she was no willing to get Jasper and the others out.

Giving the mother daughter some space, Raven walks away with Finn.

"I'm sorry." Finn says, but there was so much behind those words.

Sorry that I lied, sorry that I hurt you. Sorry that I lost myself when my sister was taken.

"We all have battle scars Finn, suck it up and build a brace for yours."

Before Finn could say anything back, they hear a man yelling.

"Help!" A voice cried, stumbling towards them

"Stay here Chancellor!" One of  the guards shouted at Abby, heading towards the yelling man, gun raised.

"Help me!" The man yelled falling to his knees

"Show us your hands." The guard ordered a few feet away.

The man stands, his hands up, as he raises his head.

"Thelonious." Abby gasps out.

Not even a second later, her doctor instincts kicked in as Jaha fell back to the ground. Pushing past the guard she knelt down next to him, looking him over.

"I have a message from the commander." Jaha gasps out in between breaths. "Leave or die, we have two days."

           ****Mt Weather**** 

"How high are you now?" Jasper asks Monty with a small smile, after Dr Tsing walked away.

Beings that he had already donated a few days ago, he couldn't another for a few more days.

"I almost don't care that there is a six-inch spike in my neck."

"I must say I'm impressed Jasper and deeply grateful." Dante says coming up and patting Jasper on the back

"These were just the first sir, more will come."

"I have no doubt."

"You saved us right, it's the least we could do." Jasper said as Dante walked away trying to muster all the sincerity in his tone.

"You see Doctor, that's our future, you just have to have a little faith in our shared humanity." Dante said to Tsing as Cage followed him out the door.

"I hope they're all this compliant." She says before goigng back to work.

"Don't worry about her dad, Dr. Tsing isn't big on admitting when she's wrong." Cage lets out a small chuckle. "All because you asked nicely."
