A/N
This is literally the most sucky chapter I've written so far. Hopefully you don't mind.

"Okay everyone!" Cassie began, smiling sincerely. She stood in front of the room with a marker in her hand, pointing at the white board that had the words 'Valentines Dance' scribbled across it in sloppy handwriting. "As you all know, the annual Valentines Dance is coming up. So that means we—"
"Wait wait wait." Aiden interrupted, resting his chin on the palm of his hand. "Why do you have to put that shit on us? We don't work here." he densely questioned, gaining a facepalm from Lukas who was sitting next to him. "I don't know if you noticed, but we're the student council, genius."
Scoffing, Aiden rolled his eyes. "No one asked for your opinion."
Cassie groaned at the sight of her two most bothersome council members. The two of them didn't always exactly work well together. As their leader, Cassie carried a huge responsibility, and the stress that came with it. There simply was too much work to do, and too little time to do it.
"Uhm, Cassie?" Radar mumbled quietly. "We haven't picked a theme yet for the dance."
"Yes, that's what I was going to say before Aiden interrupted me. So thanks Aiden, for doing that." Cassie answered, trying to keep her cool. She knew that whenever she got upset, her attitude changed from polite to sassy in an instant. Aiden noticed Cassie's behavior and immediately felt guilty. He knew not to mess with her, being familiar with the things she was capable of doing whenever she was upset. For example, one time Aiden put an empty soda can back in the mini fridge they have in the student council lounge, which resulted to Cassie storming off to Aidens class and throwing it at him.
"Right. Sorry." Aiden quickly muttered. Normally he wouldn't be the type to apologize, but considering staying on Cassie's good side was one of his top priorities, he didn't have much of a choice.
"Okay, so, does anyone have suggestions for the theme of the dance?" Cassie asked her fellow council members, looking around the room.
"How about.. glitter?" Binta suggested.
"No, we already did glitter last year." Cassie reminded her, tapping her chin. "It has to be something original."
"What about ocean?" Lukas mentioned. He knew it wasn't a good suggestion, but at least you can't say he wasn't trying.
"Nooo.. we already did ocean the year before last year, remember?"
Aiden tried oh so hard to come up with something, but to no avail. His mind was feeling like shit, but that didn't stop him from trying. He glanced around the room, looking for even the slightest ounce of inspiration. Come on you idiot just say something! It doesn't matter what, just say anything! Now! Say..
"C-Cosplay..?" Aiden mumbled, half-joking. Everyone exchanged glances with each other.
"That's a great idea Aiden!" Cassie complimented him. Aiden let out the biggest sigh of relief, thankful for the anime poster they had in the room. "Imagine how cute it would be if couples did cosplay together! This'll definitely be the greatest Valentines Dance yet! Oh, we need to makes posters and hang them around the school. The Dance is in a few weeks so we need to make those soon." Cassie kept rambling on and on, content with the suggestion.
Aiden was satisfied. Sure, cosplay wasn't the best idea for a school dance, but at least he made Cassie smile. And as long as she was happy, he was too.

"Hey Petra, why are you so late to class?" Jess asked Petra when she sat down at the desk next to hers.
"Probably hanging with her new boyfriend." Olivia giggled like a child. Ever since Petra kissed Jesse on his cheek, Olivia started teasing her non-stop. "For your information." Petra began. "I overslept this morning and couldn't be bothered to hurry up. And besides, he's not my boyfriend."
"Yeah right, you couldn't stop staring at him." Olivia mentioned. Petra turned away from Olivia's glare to hide her obvious blush. "Olivia, leave Petra alone." Jess commented, trying to make it stop. But when lunch rolled around, Olivia was still going at it.
"You two would make such a cute couple!" This time it was more of a compliment than an teasing remark, but that didn't mean it wasn't annoying. "We literally have no similarities. Whatsoever. At all." Petra remarked.
"Who needs similarities when you have the cutest boyfriend ever?" Olivia asked. Jess decided to ignore the fact that one of her best friends just called her brother cute, when she noticed Cassie approaching the table they were sitting at.
"That's a bad argument Olivia."
"My point still stands."
"Hey Cassie." Jess greeted. "What's up?"
"The Valentines Dance is coming up." Cassie said as she sat down next to her friends. "And you'll never guess this year's theme!"
"Spit it out!" Olivia said excitingly.
"It's cosplay!" Cassie exclaimed.
"Really?" they all said in unison.
"Yes! Really!" Cassie laughed. "So you guys better start looking for a date."
"A date?" Jess asked.
"Yeah! Or you could just go on your own if you don't want one, but cosplaying with someone else is more fun in my opinion."
"Speaking of dates.." Petra began. "Olivia, you should ask Axel out to the dance!"
Olivia blushed at the idea of Axel and her going to the Valentines Dance together. "No way! He'd never want to go out with me! Besides, boys don't like to dress up, so there's that."
"Ooh, you and Axel huh?" Cassie joked, and she wiggled her eyebrows a little, making Olivia blush even more. She let her head fall on the table and between her arms. "Just tell me what to do!"
"Why don't you try to get to know him first?" Jess suggested.
"I already know everything about him!" Olivia began. "His favorite color is green, his favorite class is chemistry, his favorite food is lasagna, his favorite day of the week is Friday, his favorite.." she kept rambling on and on.
"Wow, stalker much." Petra joked, although she did have some serious concerns about her lovestruck friend. Cassie tapped her chin, an idea soon popping up in her head. "If you know so much about him, why not try and talk to him?" she suggested, glancing over at Olivia with an expectant look on her face.
"You think I should do it?" Olivia doubtfully asked. Everyone nodded in agreement.
"And if he doesn't like you back, I'll make sure he wished he never bothered you." Petra said in a defensive manner.
"Petra, you're overreacting." Jess noted.
"What? I'm just being honest!"
As Jess and Petra continued their bickering, Olivia subconsciously looked over at Axels table to see him staring right at her! Wow, she never noticed how beautiful his eyes were. But all too soon, Axel looked away fast, as if Olivia wasn't there. Maybe Cassie was right. Maybe she should try and talk to him. It couldn't hurt to give it a try.
Right?
