Vincent's POV

I took a bus ticket to Bronx and then a car to go to the place I overheard from Luc's phone. Once there, I asked everyone around if they had seen a tall blonde girl riding a motorbike. The sky was turning dark and I was losing hope when someone suddenly shoved me.

I fell on the ground and quickly stood up to face who pushed me. To my dismay it was a gang of what looked like bikers. Great! I was going to be minced meat now.

All of them looked young. Mostly teenagers. The one who pushed me laughed. "Were you the one asking around about Lucas?" He asked me. I frowned at the name until I recalled Luc was actually called Lucas.

"Ohoho..he doesn't know! The tall blonde girl who is actually a guy! Ring any bells?" The guy asked me and I frowned.

"What did you do to him?" I asked angrily charging at him but the others pulled me back.

"Whoa! This is new. You knew she was a he?" the guy asked.

"Tell me where Luc is!" I demanded.

"Or what?" He asked me.

"Or I will call the police." I warned them. Everyone went still and soon after started laughing loudly.

"Ooh..we are so scared. Say that again! Say that again!" He said sounding excited.

"Look here you little punk. Do you see that?" He asked pointing at a wall of graffiti.

I raised an eyebrow the same way Luc did when he was unimpressed.

"That shows this is our turf." The guy said getting in my face. "Unless you are dumb, you don't go running around on Death Zone turf asking about our enemy." He said so seriously.

For some reason I thought it was funny. Death Zone! Pft! The moment the chuckle left my lips everyone looked at me.

"Sorry, the drawing is so immature." I said and all of them jumped on me at once. I was in a whirlwind of flying fists. The next time I opened my eyes, my head and body hurt like I've been run over by a train.

I was in a dark room. There were others with me. But they were far from me. I could see Luc tied up next to two older looking guys. Luc didn't notice I was awake. I wondered if he knew it was me who had been thrown in here.

"Jesus, Lucas. Why the hell did you throw away the drugs?" One of them was asking Luc.

"You two. I am having a serious headache. How many times are you going to keep asking him that, Rocco?" Another voice snapped.

"Until he gives us an answer that makes sense Nico. Why the hell are you taking this so calmly? We wouldn't be in this mess if not for Lucas." The guy said.

"Who cares about shit like drugs, geez." I heard Luc's familiar voice.

"Where is it, Lucas?" I heard the guy whom I now knew as Nico ask.

"I told you. It blew away..got dissolved in the sea or got eaten by fish. Honestly I don't give a damn. The fish must have had a sweet time in junkie world." Luc said.

"Damn it Lucas, it was worth a million bucks." Nico said. "What the hell are we going to tell uncle?" He asked.

"Nico. Why don't we tell the DZ that it was Lucas who lost their goods and make our escape? Uncle would skin Lucas alive anyway if we make out of this alive." The other guy said.

"Doesn't your dumb brother know the plan Nicolai? I came here so that they let you go. That was the deal. It's not my fault they are keeping you guys here as well. God, you are giving me a migraine, Rocco. Find a way to get your fat asses out of here instead of asking idiot questions." Lucas snapped.
