Vincent's POV

I struggled as my uncle took me to a car and pushed me inside, cuffing my hand against a metal frame that separated the driver side of the car from the passenger side of the car. He asked the driver to drive as he sat back and looked at me with narrowed eyes. I tried to struggle but it only bruised my wrists from chafing against the steel handcuffs.

"Stop that now, will you?" Uncle Starling said calmly as he regarded me.

I looked at him angrily.

"Release me!" I demanded fumingly and he grabbed my cheeks with his hand, making the skin of my cheeks dig painfully into my teeth. I whimpered as he brought his face close to me.

"Don't you dare take that tone with me after whoring yourself to Lucas." He said with disgust.

"All this time, your bitch mother was hiding your truth from me. Now she'll see what I do to you." He snarled and I looked at him in confused terror. He pulled away his hands from my cheeks and I breathed easier.

"Yeah. You better breathe deeply. This might be the only fresh air you breathe in a while." He mused coldly. I glanced at him with rounded eyes.

"Wh-what are you going to do to me?" I asked him guardedly.

"We'll see." He said ominously with a smirk and I felt nauseous from the stress of waiting as the car rode on until we reached the main Starling home. A guard came to take me out and another guard walked over to uncle to tell him "We got her."

Uncle looked delighted at the news.

"Ah! I have to see this." He said excitedly, forgetting completely about me as he hurried into his home. I breathed in relief at the respite but the guard tugged me in after my uncle. We were taking a route through the huge garden of the house until we reached an area that looked like a small fortress. Several guards were there guarding the area and the gate was opened for us to go in. It wasn't as big as the fortress in Luc's home. This building was about 100 metres width and length. It had a castle like feel to it inside and there was a guard sitting behind a barred reception area. The guard came out to greet uncle.

"Where is she?" Uncle demanded.

"She is in cell 13." The guard said and opened a steel door to show a steep stair case that led down. Several medieval torch sconces were lit up on both sides of the narrow stair case that made the shadows flicker creepily as we walked down to a place that smelled like death.

Cells lined both sides of the corridor we walked into and it really looked like a dungeon from one of the medieval castles I visited. However the doors were not blocks of steel like the ones I saw in Luc's home. These doors were iron bar doors that you see in normal prisons. I could see inside the cell. The ones I saw were empty but I felt scared nevertheless. Except for sconces that were sparsely placed between cells, there was no light and it was very cold.

I wanted to protest but I couldn't. I guess I was feeling helpless because I knew Luc couldn't come for me and the others were too busy protecting Luc to try to save me. Anyway, I was relieved to not have my uncle's attention. He seemed to be walking in quick strides towards cell 13. We could hear animalistic growling from that cell.

"Unchain me!" I heard a woman's voice filled with authority.

"Come back here you cowards. Where the hell am I?" I heard the screaming. The voice felt familiar somehow but I couldn't tell who it was.

"She is loud for someone who just regained consciousness." The guards who came out of the cell said, just as we reached the cell. Uncle Starling's face lit up with a pleased smile as he entered the prison cell. I was being taken to the cell in front of the female prisoner that had my uncle excited. I glanced into the cell as I was turned around to go into my cell and my eyes widened in recognition.
