11. Meeting her family

„N-N-Nathan" „Hey Stana." She pulled him outside and closed the door behind her. „What are you doing here." Her voice was full of surprise. „I couldn't survive another day without seeing you." Nathan said. „Oh God..." Stana hugged him closely and he hugged her back so she could feel the hard muscles in his arms holding her tight not letting her go, ever. „I missed you so much." „Belive me Stana I missed you even more." „Oh that's not possible." Stana said and wrapped her arms around him again breathing in the familiar scent of his aftershave. He softly kissed her forehead and then her lips. At first the kiss was soft and relaxed but it took only seconds before it turned hotter and was full of love and passion. They kissed for a few minutes because after it got more heated the kiss turned slower again then was only many pecks on the lips before it, once again, was a longer caressing kiss. After they held each other long enough the couple finally parted. „But you can't stay here I'm afraid." „Why? Aren't you happy to have me here?" „I am belive me but there are no rooms left in the house and mum and dad kill me if we share a room." „Oh you mean the space... I thought you were talking about the possibility for me to stay. Don't care about that, I booked a sweet at the hotel a block from here and there is enough space for two so..." Nathan said and grinned at his girlfriend. „Sounds perfect to me." Stana was so happy at that very moment. It was pure joy she felt. „Wanna come in? Meet my family? Finally..." „Of course." They pecked each others lips one last time before opening the door. Stana led Nathan to the living room. Although she had been out for like ten minutes, her family was still laughing at the Bigfoot joke. The first to recognize Stana and Nathan was Rada. She immediately stopped laughing when she saw her daughter standing in the door holding hands with a man she never saw before in her life. The others all turned around because they wanted to know why she stopped laughing. „What? Surprised that Bigfoot has a boyfriend?" Stana's voice sounded hurt and happy the same time. Nothing could be worse enough to ruin her day now that she had Nathan by her side. „What on earth?" Gigi was clearly shocked. „Ya all that's Nathan." He walked around shaking hands with everyone. „Why didn't you say anything that he would come over?" Peter asked his daughter after greeting Nathan. „I didn't know myself. He's supposed to be in New York for another three weeks. I looked as surprised as you all do right now when I found him infront of the door." Stana smiled softly at her dad. „Well, Stana I think you two owe us an explanation." Her brother Marko was still shocked as hell. „Yeah, maybe we do." They all sat down. „So how long have you been together?" Chris asked the most important question. „Twomorrow is our one year anniversary." Nathan answered and shoked them all again. „One year!? Stana why didn't you say something?" „I'm sorry Mum I just didn't know how you would react and I wanted to tell you in person, not just on the phone from such a long distance." „But that's no excuse for keeping it a secret!" Peter was nearly freaking out. „Yes, it is. I wanted to be sure that it would work before telling you." Stana was annoyed. „I think it is okay that she didn't say anything. Remember that I had been together with Luka for over two years before you met him. Plus we were already engaged and he didn't ask you for your blessing." Gigi tried to help her sister. „Yeah, but at least you told us that you were in a relationship!" „Dad let her be if she's happy... you should be happy for her too." „Thanks Chris." Stana had expected that her dad would probably freak out but she never thought that her siblings would protect her. „I will need some time to process this." Stana's Dad said and walked out without another word. Not even looking at Stana. „So... how did you meet each other?" Rada asked after a moment of awkward silence. „That's acually kind of funny, because we met at the casting for Castle..." Stana started, „We were the lucky ones that were taken..." Nathan got on wit the story, „...at the set we got closer. Even grew friends..." Stana took over again looking into Nathan's eyes. „...I started feeling more for her after about two years of working together..." Nathan was burning her with his deep ocean blue eyes, „...so did I but never confessed it to him..." Stana was smiling now. „...neither did I. But my feelings didn't go away..." „...and after shooting season four..." Stana continued, „...after four years working as a team,..." He smiled brightly, „...Nathan came to my trailor after work when I was just about to go home..." „I got in and kissed her." Stana squeezed his hand a little bit. „Wow that's so romantic." Chris stated. „And more than just cute how you finish the other ones sentences." Gigi squealed. Stana was smilig all over her face as she snuggled closer into Nathan's side and buried her head in the crook of his neck. „I'm so happy for you sweetie." Rada was smiling at her daughter now. „Thanks mum. Oh and by the way... Marko where is your girlfriend anyway?" Her brother didn't answer. He just looked at the floor to hide his blushing face. „Thought so..." After they talked for a little more Peter finally got back. He calmed down and was ready to talk with them normally. At the end of the day he acually liked Nathan. Not that he would ever say it out loud but he did.
