Nathan's POV
„Can you go please?" Stana asked me, „My hair is still wet." I looked at her. „No, I'm sorry but I'm sure that one's for you." She didn't look very pleased. „It's not very nice when you don't give me what I want." She said as she stepped outside the bathroom. The next thing I heard was how the door got opened and a guy asking „Are you Stana Katic?" And Stana saying yes and then gasping for air loudly. Not even a minute later she walked back in, a very big bouquet in her hands. „Nathan, you're wonderful." Stana said with tears in her eyes. She placed the flowers, they were red, pink, blue and white with green grasses among them, on the sink and hugged me. I laid my arms around her waist holding her tightly. „I thought you deserved a little surprise after this whole time in Boston." Stana's eyes were still shut while she was standing there without saying a word, just enjoying my closeness and so did I. After a few minutes, we had to go, if we wanted to catch our flight back to LA.

„So do you think we should tell our friends now? I mean we're engaged. That's different than before." Stana asked me in the taxi on the way to the airport. „I guess so. Our families already know and I'm sure they will see your ring sooner or later." I took her hand as I answered her. „You're right." Stana pecked my lips, just as the taxi stopped. I paid the driver and we got out. On the plane we were flying first class while Stana's parents were in second class. „Are we going to do the dinner with our parents twomorrow after work or at the weekend?" I asked after about half an hour of silence. „As we have to work twomorrow I think it would be better if we do it on Saturday so we have enough time to cook. Besides, your parents have to have time to come over too." „Ok, then I'll call them if they can come." „Yeah."
Stana was looking around in the plane a little bit hoping she would see Mia, although the possibility was very low. I hung up and turned to her. „My parents said that they would love to have dinner with us on Saturday. They wanted to visit us anyway. Now that they live in Europe we don't see each other too often." „Mhmm." Stana didn't really listen to me. „Stana? Are you even listening?" I looked at her a bit annoyed and angry, „Hey Nate," Stana said not replying my question, „That guy over there...I think he's following us." She pointed to a young man that was sitting on the left side of the plane two rows ahead of us. „Why?" Now I was confused. „I saw him at the hotel and his taxi was behind us all the way to the airport, and now he is in the same plane? That can't be a coincidence. Right?" She looked at me awkwardly. „Yes it can be. Besides, why would he follow us?" „I don't know...It's just...weird..." I took Stana's hand in mine. „Everything is going to be alright. You're acting a bit paranoid, you know?" Stana sighed, „Maybe you're right. Maybe I do." „Ok now let's just enjoy the rest of the flight because twomorrow we have to work again." I said and leaned back with closed eyes.

After they flew almost the half of the distance an announcement from the pilot was heard in the whole plane. „Ladies and Gentelmen, we're sorry to inform you that we have to do a stopover because of a strong storm above Nevada and Arizona. We are going to land in Denver, Colorado and wait until the storm is over." „Oh no"s were heard in the whole plane and also from Stana. „Should we call Andrew and tell him that we cannot come to work tomorrow?" She asked Nathan with a questioning look. „No. The storm might be over sooner than we think and until then we can enjoy our little surprise vacation in Denver." He softley smiled at her.

What they didn't know back then that they would only spend about six and a half hours there. They landed in Denver around 14:30 and spent the time together with Stana's parents. The four of them walked through Denver for a bit, doing some sightseeing and shopping. After four hours of walking, talking and shopping they got to a nice coffeehouse in the middle of the city. Stana and Nathan shared a piece of cake while Rada and Peter both had their own. They also drank a coffee each. After a while Stana was done with her cake and she looked around a bit. But she didn't like what she saw. „Nathan," she wispered and slightly pulled on his sleeve with worry in her eyes. As he turned to her with a smile but it immediately fell, when he saw the expression on her face. „What's wrong?" Nathan was also whispering now. „That guy...from the plane..." He looked confused at her words, „the one I told you that I thought he was following us?"„Oh... yeah... what about him?" „He's sitting over there looking at us..." The worry in her voice was very obvious so Nathan turned his head a tiny bit and really, the creepy guy from the plane was sitting only three tables away from them and he was staring at the couple very weirdly. „Ok... maybe you were right about him. That guy is a bit odd." „Haven't I told you?" She looked at him. „I'm sorry I should have believed you. We should go back to the airport now, our plane leaves in about one hour." Nathan said with a look to his clock and stood up with Stana immediately by his side.
