What does she mean? Yeah ,I know it's not good! Why does she look so scared though? Has this happened to her before? Does she know about this creature? Im getting curious, I should ask her some questions...
"Do you know about this creature...?" I ask. She stands up from her chair slowly.
"You have to come with me, now."
Um no way! I'm not going anywhere with this old lady! Who knows what she'll do to me...but...maybe I should go, she seems to know about this stuff. I don't want anyone else to die because of me. Like my brother...he died because of me. I wanna stop this, right? Yeah, so IM GOING! I don't care if she kills me, I just don't wanna kill any more people.
"W-where?" I ask.
"To my house in the forest, it'll take awhile to get there but it'll be worth it dear. I'm going to help you. I know exactly what's happening."
"Really?! That's great! Let's go then!"
We exit the library and walk into a giant forest right behind the library. It's scary...how does she live in a place like this?!
We walk past a pond, full of dead frogs. She doesn't seem bothered by this at all. She stops and looks at me.
"Hide." Is all she says. I had no idea what was happening but I decided to do what she said and hid behind a huge log. I look around trying to find what we're hiding from. As I look around I see the librarian right beside me. I look at her in confusion.
"What are we hiding from?" I whisper.
"I'm not sure...I heard someth-" the librarian was interrupted by a loud screech which makes me jump a little. WHAT WAS THAT?! I gulp, it keeps screeching, and it's getting closer...
The librarian gasps.
"If you see anything strange. Don't. Move. This creature will make you see things, whatever you do, don't talk to whatever you see. You will die. I repeat, you will die."
What does she mean? Oh my goshness, the screeches are getting louder and louder. It's getting closer! I blink and everything turns white. I see my little doggy. I was about to move but remembered what the librarian said. RIGHT. Don't move. This is how the creature captures you. Smart.
