Chapter 8

~4 Days Later~

I walked out of school rushing home hoping to avoid Andy and his crew. Unaware of anything around me I ran into something rock hard. I looked up to see Andy smirking. I didn't know what to do. I just panicked. My breathing was uneven and my eyes were closing quickly. Then everything went black.

~~Hours Later~~

I woke up to a bright white light. Was I dying? Nope. I was in a hospital. Grasping the sights around me I sat up shakily.

"Livvy!" Someone screamed. It was Shawn as he ran and hugged me.

"Shawn I can't breathe" I croaked out.

"Sorry baby sis.." He sighed in relief.

"What happened?" I asked worried

"You had a panic attack. That's all I know..." He replies.

"Can I talk to hayes? Is he here?" I sighed.

"Yeah just a sec hon." He replied leaving the room

Shawn was being a lot nicer to me than before. Was it because I was fragile. Or in the hospital? Just as I was drowned in my thoughts Hayes walked in. I wanted to run up to him so badly. But then I saw the black eye. And realised his limp. My eyes widened.

"Hayes... What happened?" I croaked out.

I know I'm very emotional. Don't judge.

He stood there for a minutes and spoke, "Andy happened Livvy."

Why would Andy hurt him. He can kill me for all I care as long as Hayes is okay. He doesn't need this.

"Hayes.. You don't deserve this.." I spoke .

"It's for yo-" he started but I cut him off.

"No Hayes. I don't want you getting hurt because of me. This is all because of me." I was shaking now, tears threatening to spill.

"Just forget about me Hayes. None of this happened okay." I sighed .

"But-" he said.

"Hayes. It's not worth it." I said pulling him into one last kiss.

I was going to miss his lips..
