You, Odd Jobs, and Taro, all united together, were finally making your way out of the Laughing Ladies Lounge. Overall, there weren't too many guards after the blood bath Kagura and Gintoki went through— on this floor, at least. Occasionallythere were a few baddies, but it was nothing Odd Jobs couldn't handle, all while you held Taro closely to you to keep him safe.

Although, as you all progressed, you eventually hit a tough spot. Following the green, glowing EXIT signs, you eventually hit a floor that had too many guards to take on at once. Odd Jobs, not even skipping a beat, seemed to know what to do. You weren't sure if they discussed it or not while you weren't paying attention, or if this was just one of their classic protocols, but Shinpachi and Kagura both ran off in opposite directions, and Gintoki grabbed your arm and took you off in his own. You suddenly had to run, and you looked back at the crowed of thugs you left behind. Obviously they were irritated and confused, but they eventually scrambled into three, even separated groups just to go after all of you. Soon, you ended losing the men who were on your tail, safely entering an enclosed staircase without being notised— or so you thought.

You couldn't help but pant, feeling your legs shake under you, but you instantly held your breath when you heard giant footsteps approach you from the stairs. You see a giant man with a sinister look in his eyes. It was Boris, and he looked very displeased. Gin made sure you and Taro were safely behind him be fore he unsheathed his sword, and stood firmly, ready to strike the threat before you.

You were confident in Gin's abilities, but that still didn't mean that you were nervous, as you adjusted your 5-year-old son who was getting heavy in your arms. All of a sudden, you felt his weight release from you, as you notice that something had snatched Taro out of your hold. Heart nearly stopping, you turned your body around, desperately and interactively reaching in the direction he went. Then, you eyes caught his: Masashi.

You could help but shout incoherently at the sudden surprise and fear that had just overcome you, and Gintoki had to look back and see what had happened. Gin's eyes grew wide as his gaze was drawn to a reflective object that was tightly gripped in Masashi's hand, and was pressed harshly against Taro's temple: A pistol.

While Gin stood frozen with fear, he had completely forgotten about the monster he had just turned away from. Suddenly, Gintoki feels a tug at his arm, realizing his katana was taken right out of his hand. He glanced back just in time to watch as Boris drops the sword down the shaft of the staircase, and the clanging of it grazing the walls below echoed up to all of your ears.

You, on the other hand, were stuck looking at your son in peril once more. You saw the look on Masashi's face; it was one of a crazed madman. His snarled face didn't matched his wide, bloodshot eyes. His nose, still broken and bandaged, was now stained with blood— assuming you caused that. All the while, Taro hung helplessly, tears falling from his eyes.

"You are such a disgusting whore, aren't you!?" Masashi's gun toting hand was shaking "How can you honestly this you even can deserve a life outside of my walls, huh?"

"Masashi, please," you begged "Don't shoot Taro, please!"

Beside you, Gin too felt hopless, especially after Boris had taken hold of both his arms, and twisted them behind his back, restraining the samurai.

You fall to you knees, further trying to plead with Taro's captor, and this action makes your son start to whimper.

"I'll do anything, please-" you gave in "Just don't hurt him".
