It took everything in your power to finally get here. You let that's monster lay his hands on you once more just so you could execute your last minute plan.
You felt dirty, and overwhelmed. You couldn't even look at Masashi's unconscious body beside you. Worried of how long he would be out for, you needed to act quickly. Your plan was to clean up the shards of the busted plate, and scream to alert the guards. Then, hopefully, they would find Masashi unconsciously laying on you, and while they deal with him, you can take them out as well while they aren't on guard.
---
After step one was done, you laid back into position, positioning Masashi on top of you, despite all of your morals. And, while a prepared inhale, you released a loud shriek of terror. You let it ring out for about three seconds, before you stopped and prepared to use your acting skills to fake being alarmed. So you waited... and waited... and waited some more.
"Really?" you rolled your eyes before you let out another high pitched scream.
Still no one.
You sighed, and aggrivately dropped your head back onto the fluffy down pillow.
If they think these sounds are normal coming from Masahi's room I swear to god-
Just as you were about to think of something else to try, a large object suddenly comes flying from out of the wardrobe at the side of the room.
You yelp in surprise by the sudden crash, and jolt up from the bed, sending Masashi's limp form off of you and on to the floor.
You look, and you note that the object, which now was sprawled on the floor, was that of a person. Not any person, however, but Shinpachi.
"Shinpachi!" you exclaim in both joy and concern as you quickly make your way off the bed to aid your friend who was wincing on the floor.
"Huh, Y/N?" his head tilted upward to get a good look at you "You're not hurt, are you?"
You give a small, humble chickle "Uhm, I think I should be asking you that".
Gingerly, you help Shinpachi sit upright, all while retrieving his glasses that had flown off his face and skidded along the wood floor on his entry.
"How'd you find me?" you asked, genuinely surprised to see him.
"Honestly, it was pure luck," Shinpachi shrugged it off before looking and pointing back at the wardrobe "Also, he helped me out a lot".
You look to the now busted wardrobe as well, and couldn't believe your eyes. Through the hole Shinpachi made was a dark room, and at the entrance stood a scared looking little boy: Taro, your son.
Your heart skips a beat as tears suddenly well up in your eyes "Taro!"
"Mommy!" Taro already had tears dripping off his cheeks.
You ran to the wardrobe as Taro ran through it, practically leaping into your arms.
"Oh my god, Taro, I missed you so much! I love you, I love you, I love you!" you covered your boy with loving kisses as he couldn't help but sob into your dress, clinging to you desperately.
