Edrice had been too tired to hop into the shower last night and get out of the feeling that she was still driving a car. Nevertheless, she had slept amazing in the soft bed and woke up when her alarm rung at eight in the morning. She was quite chirpy for some reason, perhaps because she yesterday had been fun, even though Jomana's car had broken down and they continued the drive from Lecce to Rome without her. She was sure Jomana arrived last night and would possibly be still asleep. Edrice took some clothes from her bag and moved into the bathroom, deciding to enjoy a long, hot shower now. She sighed in relief when the warm water poured down on her and she moved her hands through her long, dark brown hair to wet it properly before kneading some shampoo through. Edrice washed her body meanwhile, glad she wouldn't smell bad afterwards anymore.
She wrapped a towel around her body when she was done, knotting it above her cleavage to work on her hair in front of the mirror. Edrice was glad she had some time alone. She loved being around Jomana and she surely enjoyed the time spend with Charles, but she cherished the moments when she was on her own. Her thoughts wandered off to the dinner she had with the Monegasque Ferrari driver. She looked at the way the brush moved through her hair while she followed it with the blow dryer to get it to dry more quickly, however her mind wasn't focused on that. Charles had been very nice to her and she actually found it very adorable that he asked her out in Monte Carlo last night, but she didn't let him notice of course. Edrice was maybe a bit worried by the way Jomana had been teasing her about him.
Did she showcased it that Obvious, that she might be interested in him? Maybe some subtle flirting, but besides that, she wouldn't know what else. Of course Jomana knew her since they were kids and she could notice within seconds when Edrice had her eye on someone. And let's be honest, Charles is a very attractive and charming guy. Edrice put down her brush and the blow dryer when she was done, dropped the towel around her body to get into her jeans. She pulled an olive green shirt over her head and took her bag of Essentials to fill in her eyebrows in front of the mirror. She moved her chapstick over her lips and added a bit of mascara to her lashes. Edrice had send a text to everyone last night to say that they would have breakfast at nine in the hotel and then they'd leave, so they'd reach the airport before noon, if the traffic was with them.
Edrice packed everything she could pack so far and finally pulled her Phone from the charger. She had ten minutes left, but she went downstairs already. She was not surprised when Charles was already there, seated at a table with some of the crew members and they seemed to be engaged in a conversation. "Good morning". They cut the conversation when Edrice neared them and she automatically pulled on the chair next to Charles. "Good morning". She replied with a small smile, taking her Phone out of her back pocket of her jeans to not sit down on it. "Did you sleep well?". Charles asked and she looked over at him, his bright eyes finding her darker ones. "Pretty good". She nodded. "How about you?". She asked in response. "Very decent". Charles said and she smiled at him. The crew was silent, but a few of them grinned at her. "What, Oliver". Edrice said with a glance and they laughed at the annoyed tone to her voice.
"Nothing, gorgeous". Oliver, one of the camera guys, blew her a teasing guys and Edrice waved him away, looking anywhere but him to not show him the small smile that wanted to curl her lips again. "Look whose there". Oliver said then and they all looked up at Jomana as she made her way to the table. "Wow, you look terrible". Edrice mentioned when she sat down on the opposite of her. "It's because of those stupid Italians". She grumbled. It was clearly visible that she didn't have the best night with the amount of hours she should've slept. Her hair was still wet from the shower and she looked like she could murder someone within five seconds. "Don't keep heavy stories on your heart, Jomana, tell us all about it". Frank, also of the camera crew, told her, chuckling lightly. "Well, after the tow truck came, my car was taken to a place that looked like nobody lived there...". She started.
