Confession

I toss and turn the entire night fearful of the killer clown that could be lurking in the shadows of the room. Mom didn't wake me for school and left me home to "get myself under control". The majority of the day I spent in a nightmare looking over my shoulder any moment the floor creaked. I look at the indents on my shoulder in the mirror ready for them to start pouring blood. The deep individual marks looks like a honeycomb, the divided holes of pain taking reesident on my skin.

A knocking on my window tears me from the daydream filled with horrors. I move over to look out my window and see Henry sitting on a branch of the tree that sits outside my window. I slide open the glass looking at him confused. "What are you doing here?" He looks at me questionable and shrugs sliding his way into my room. "You weren't at school." "And?"

He stays silent rocking on the heels of his boots. "Just making sure my study partner isn't dead. Julie said you would be here." of course she did.

I remember the notes him and Julie pass. The cute giggles she gives as she reads it. She deserves to feel happy. I just don't think they're the right match. Plus what he said to me yesterday! All these emotions balling up to hatred for the simple farm boy in front of me.

I roll my eyes and sit on the edge of my bed. "Right Bowers. If you really wanted relationship advice you should've gone to Carly. She would've been nicer than I'm going to be." Henry squintes up his face even more confused now. "What are you talking about?" I shake my head standing up walking closer to him. "You and Julie dude. I can tell you're all about her, and god knows she's all about you, but I'm just here to tell you it's not going to work." "Me and Julie?! (Y/n) what the hell have you been smoking? Are you that fucking thick?" Henry almost laughs at my accusations.

"I can tell Bowers! You two passing notes all the time. Her giggling and winking at me! She's not right for you, and you're not right for her. Just makes me sick!" Henry steps closer with a serious expressions. "And why do you say that? I think I'm pretty great." I roll my eyes at his childish behavior. He's words and sarcastic tone fires me up.

I scoff feeling my anger rise. "Not for her. She's to sweet." "Who then Tozier? Tell me who I match up with in your little head?"

His words play over and over. In my head? Well in my head...

I sigh and look at him straight in the eyes. "Me."

I lach my hands on the back of his neck pulling him down to meet my lips. He hums in response and places his hands on my waist holding me tightly. Our lips battle one an others in a heap of passion. The same passion from the kiss before; maybe even stronger. He bites my lower lip pulling it. I pull away breathing hard and shocked from my own actions.

I know it's unhealthy, and dangerous to give into the temptation that ties in to him, but I can't get enough. "I-I'm sorry. You should go. I shouldn't have ever done that."

Henry's grip tightens even more and he presses his head to mine. "You know for one of the smartest girls in school you really are a dumbass." "What?" "(y/n) I like you. Not Julie."

My whole body shifts into relaxation settling my arms around Henry once more. "Then what were you and Julie talking about?"

Henry smiles and pulls a folded sheet of paper from his pocket. I waste no time ripping it from his hands and reading the words written.

H: Where is she today?

J: I called her last night. Her mom answered. She said (y/n) had a breakdown or something. Idk what happened.

H: I'm worried about her

J: Go check on her tonight then.

H: Yea. Like she's going to let Henry Bowers walk right into her house.

J: She's got a window too.

H: Noted.

"You two were talking about me the whole time?" He shakes his head yes with a slight blush. "Damn I really am thick." We laugh into silence.

I peer out my window seeing it already getting frosty due to the crude weather. "Henry did you walk here?" He nods his head "You can't walk back home in this." He laughs and shrugs. "Where else do you expect me to go?" I sit on the edge of my bed and look at him. "My parents don't see me before school unless they have to wake me up. You could leave before Richie woke up." Henry stares at me surprised. "You're offering me to stay here? In the house?" "Ew, no Bowers. I meant outside in the car." "Oh." Henry shuffles to the window, but I grab him laughing. "I was kidding! You can sleep with me." Henry grappes his hands to my waist and tugs me close. "Can I now?" He dips his head down into my neck and plants tiny kisses along the way to my lips.

I push him away giggling. "In the bed dummy. Don't be weird or I will make you sleep in the car." I move to my queen bed and slid over offering him the other side. Henry moves over to the bed and climbs in next to me. "Goodnight (Y/n)." He lightly kisses my exposed neck in a sweet manner. "Goodnight Henry."
