Schultz was in class, he was all wet do to some kisses that were especially messy on his way out of the cave. Unlike most times where he was at school thinking about leaving to sleep, he was staring at his pistol. He was lost in thought hearing multiple voices when he felt the teacher's knuckles knock on his head, he looked up at miss Laurant, a Hungarian sniper.
She wore a traditional blue military overcoat with a red beret and red pants. She had golden buttons, and some medals. She had black face paint on and white hair, that bring out her beautiful pink eyes.
She had a gentle look in her eye and dismissed the class to talk to him in private. The teacher took off her red beret and sat by him.
"Az én madármesterem, what's wrong?" She had called him 'my birdie' in her native language.
The boy looks up at her, "nothing, ma'am"
"Something is wrong", she corrected, "you were staring at your gun the whole class, is it because you regret picking the pistol over the rifle?"
"No... just some conflicts" he sigh "look...it's nothing to worry yourself of..."
The Hungarian woman took him by the hand and guides him to the window, viewing the grounds and the mountains at the distance. Laurant sigh and took a seat on the window ,
"My boy, you can't fool me... do you forget I've been in your shoes? I can help you, tell me is someone bullying you?" She knelt down to his level.
Schultz was conflicted, "let's say I know this...person who loves me with all his or her heart... and said person also can be the death of you...literally speaking as in... they CAN kill you... how can I be safe and not abandon said person...", he didn't want to give any detail.
"Hmm... has this person hurt you?", she asked.
Schultz confesses "yes...", he didn't say how
Laurant said "uh-huh... Schultz... are you being abused? Need help?"
"No..I'm fine and well... I love that person as a parent, but I'm scared" he said
"I see... how about you live with me for a while... I'll send them a note", she stood
Schultz froze and stood "NO!"
There is silence as the teacher stared at the little boy. She tilts her head and Schultz came up with a save.
"I- I'll do it.. Yo save you the trouble", he held both her hands "it's something... I must do", he lied
Laurant skilled and outs him gently "that makes a great soldier... I admire your bravery " she stood and gave him paper
Schultz writes a lie to Emilia, 'Dear mom, today I volunteered to stay with the teacher for some private lessons, so I won't be coming back for some time, give me 3 days or so, I'll never abandon you, I'm just perfecting some parts of me that I want to make better than before. Mom, I love you, yours truly, schuktz', he Concludes.
He gave it to a messenger pigeon and it was taken to emilia, Laurant picks up her things and takes the boy with her to a big house. She gave him a tower to stay in within her manor. It was a big place, inherited by her parents.
Schultz looks at the mountain from his window. He stayed in bed.
