chapter 19: Hunted

Emilia walk das down the mountain with Schultz, they were a bit silent after such a tale, the only noise that can be heard is emilia's footsteps on the gravel. After a while she looks at Schultz.

"So what of your family?"

Schultz turns to her "uhm...I don't know... I was a donation to the military"

"I see...well don't worry, now you can make new memories, sure you live in a cave now, but you live with me, someone who loves you", she smiled

The boy smiled and rested his head on her shoulders, emilia perros him as she walks into the open to cross to the next mountain.

Suddenly a jet tosses smoke at them, the giantess coughs. Her eyes went from her gentle grey to a wrathful red. She did a unnatural roar that hurts schultz's ears. A second plane appears and shoots a grappling hook at her legs and started to drive round her as a tank shot multiple nets at her body.

The giantess roared once more as a net covers her face, finally the tanks full her as she came tumbling down, her face landing before zussman.

"Hello there, I thought I saw you here... finally something to show off to the town so they see I am not crazy...so...any last wishes before you become... property?"

"...let my son go...he is in my chest area", she sigh

The soldiers cut schultz off her and the boy was separated from her. He struggles and fights to reach for her. He grunted as soldiers held him back and away.

"SCHULTZ, SHULTZ! LISTEN TO ME!", Emilia yells. The house stopped and she continued "everything is going to be ok, I'll be with you... very soon, ok? Don't worry, just go to town..."

Schultz tears up as the soldiers held him feeling guilt I  am way, the corporal turns to zussman silently.

"What now, sir?"

"Now... we take her into the city, so everyone can see that I am no mad man", zussman said "and then we kill her"

"What?!" The corporal said "no, you cant, she is clearly sentient and we know nothing about them, I suggest we-"

"We let her go and eat us? Stomp us? Perhaps let her squeeze us till our eyes pop out?" He asked "is this really what you want?"

The corporal shook his head "nein... bring her in"

The soldiers called in the armored train, it had a cart where they removed the tanks and put emilia inside. She was trapped down, as if the ropes around her were not enough to hold her down. They spray a gas at her that made her drowsy.  Schultz tears up, but emilia assures her safety by smiling at the boy weakly one last time.

"Stay strong, my child", her eyes slowly closed and she falls asleep.

The train blew it's loud whistle and started to move away, the soldiers could not leave the kid behind, so they put him in a cargo truck to take him into town. The road was a long one. The train traveled slowly so that zussman can keep up in his jeep.

The giantess being ssleep, the soldiers started to strip her off her armor and they put her in some old rags instead, the metal was up in the back cart. Zussman's goons started to put mud and gunk all over her hands, face, and feet, to make her look filthy. Her beautiful blonde hair is also stained with mud.

Schultz could do nothinh, but watch the event unfold from his truck. He sighs and went to a corner. He was given a gun suddenly.

The corporal said "sorry about your giantess, kid... take this rifle, you are going to parade with us"

the boy tears a little as he was dressed in a green trench coat with a iron cross in each shoukder, wearing the Jäger logo. He braced himself and cleans his face, for the victory parade was going to begin in a while, being a part was a honor, but not for schultz, who only wanted his new mom.
