Tonight was the night, where every man and woman gets to see the last giant in the entire planet. Emilia was yet to be revealed as many giant architecture and weapons were exhibited in the coliseum. Emilia was in stress, she hasn't seen light at all being under a giant sheet for hours and hours, but the voice of schuktz, who was guarding her, soothes her.
"Mom, will you be ok?", he asked
"I will be, just you wait, child", she said from under the sheets.
The grand finale was upon the people here, the grand unveiling of the giantess gas arrived. Zussman began his announcement.
"To all my guests... thank you for coming and for marveling at the history of our people. Look now p, for we are going to present the one and only giant, the last of her kind", the soldiers pull out the sheets.
There was emilia, chained, muspddy, in rags, and a bit scarred. She stared at the people clearly afraid.
"Worry not.,. The giant fears you more than what you fear it, she has been defeated..." Zussman turns to her "at last I finish what you started ages ago"
"What did I do? Sir, you are not making sense to me"
"Everyone here knows how the the goes..." he whispered "tonight I see my promise to this fair planet fulfilled at long last"
Zussman had a mean look on his eyes and he whites the sweat off his bald head with the rags she wore. The people stared and took pictures off her and with her. Emilia to leave a good impression, she smiles for most of them.
"Tomorrow we put her down, so enjoy her while she is there" the military commando said as he made his leave.
The people kept taking pictures and also some even asked for some spit sample to keep in a jar to remember the last giant, not feeling any negative feelings towards humanity, she spat on the jars for the job ones who asked for it. Many left with souvenirs, soldiers cut some strands of hair for the citizens who requested it.
That night, Schultz sneaks to her and hid in one of the chains. When the guards left, he came out happily and kisses her ankle. Feeling the warmth of schultz, emilia smiled for the first time in the day.
"Oh my baby... I'd onto know how I'll get out of this.., I can't lie to you... I'm not going to make it"
"N-no, you can't give in", the eager kid said "not you! You are a warrior, I'm sure there is something you can do!"
Emilia thinks for a while "thanks... but nothing comes to mind" she sigh and said "sure sleep with me... and pray everything goes well"
They both pray before sleeping, schuktz cuddled into her arms, as she held him to her chest. She sigh, what will become of her now??
