Second chances (Talenny)

I blew it

Penny's POV

The morning went really well. Me and Talon ate breakfast, played games and I really enjoyed spending time with him. He took me to the ice cream parlor and brought me a triple scoop! Okay so enemies can be sorta fun when they aren't up to no good.

"Thanks for the ice cream Talon."

"No problem Penny, hey what's that behind you?"

I looked around only to see Talon grab my ice cream cone and dot some ice cream on my nose. CHEEKY.  

Although things became worse when I had to ask him the most awkward question.

" Talon, do you have a crush on me?"

"But Penny we're enemies!"

"I know but still." I flushed red.

Talon's POV

She was seriously asking me this. I can't tell her that I like her. I'd have to tell a white lie.

"Look Penny, you're great, really, but I-I don't have feelings for you."

I saw  the smallest tear appear in her eye, I just made Penny cry. I wiped her tears.

Penny's POV

He told me fair and square, Talon didn't love me.

"I have to go." I ran out the room and down the corridors.

I very faintly heard the words "Penny!"

I carried on running

Talon's POV

I ran after her as quick as possible, I'd lost her...

It's getting tense SQUEEE
