Confrontations

Penny's POV

The nerve of that girl. I continuously looked at the messages sent by that hair gelled brat. He even said she was prettier than any girl he'd ever seen in all of his life! Now I had to act on that.

" Hey Kay, can we talk a sec?"

"Oh sure Pen."

Should I get straight to the point with her or give it a few minutes? No straight to the point!

"So, going to the prom with Talon are we, KAY?"

"What? Penny how did you... I mean no why would I go with that jerk, he's your enemy?"

"Well, I saw your texts to him so what  can you say bout that?!"

"Penny shut up, people are staring at us!"

"Good! They should know that your a traitor!"

I snatched her phone again and shoved it into everybody's faces on the bus.

"Hey look at this traitor! She's going to the prom with my enemy, and she's my best friend, at least I THOUGHT SHE WAS!"

"PENNY GIVE ME MY PHONE BACK NOW!"

"NO, I WON'T!"

"THEN I'LL MAKE YOU!"

She did something she said she'd never ever do to me, she kicked me right in the ass. Oh the pain was bad, real bad, but I'm no wuss so I kicked her back. All the other kids on the bus gathered around us yelling 'Fight, fight!' but god that girl could kick ass. Where'd she been hiding those moves. It was at last I knocked her to the ground, right as we got to our stop funnily enough. We got off and Kay would usually come back to our apartment for a while but instead she went back home.

When I got home I messaged her to see if we could make amends, she wasn't having none of that though. She read my messages but completely ignored me. I wanted to cry because I'd lost my best friend. But I've cried enough for one week. Uncle Gadget came upstairs later and found me listening to sad music, like usual.

"Penny? What's this I hear about you and Kayla?"

"What?! How do you know?"

"A kid on the bus told their parents and they informed me right away."

"Oh they did? Well its nothing important, just a silly quarrel."

"You sure?"

"Yes, I'd never lie to you Uncle Gadget."

Well I just lied to my own Uncle. It seemed I was taking all my anger out on everybody I love.

Talon' s POV

Well, that settled it, I was going to the prom with Kayla. Penny's gonna be so jealous! But still, maybe Kayla will talk things through with Pen about it. Still I should confront Martin about all this. I found Martin at the skate park after school. I pulled him over to one corner.

"Yo bro, what can I do for ya?"

"Oh nothing much its just, about Penny, do you happen to like her?"

"Duh, who wouldn't? She's gorgeous!" 

"Okay well do you think you could make sure she and Kayla don't argue cuz you know, I'm her date after all."

"Dang bro, didn't you hear what happened on the bus earlier?"

"No."

"Well Penny found out about you and Kayla and they both had this huge fight!"

"Oh shoot, I better make sure they're okay!"

"Go ahead bro, I ain't getting involved!"

I walked down the street towards home. I can't believe they had a fall out. Wait was Penny jealous? Dang.
