Penny's POV

We went sort of quiet for what seemed like forever. I had no idea what to say. I mean mad were gonna blow up this place anytime now so I had an idea to pass time.

"Hey Talon you wanna play truth or dare."

"Sure pretty Penny, but one thing first."

"Sure."

"That kiss the other night, did that mean anything to you?"

What was I gonna say. Of course it meant something but I couldn't jump to the conclusion that this may be love. But then maybe he felt something.

"How about we just play the game."

"Okay, if you say so."

Talon's POV

I don't know whether Penny does feel a connection with me. I really do like her but now we're getting more missions so maybe...things won't actually work out.#

"Alright Penny, truth or dare?"

"Hmm, truth."

"Okay, do you have a crush on someone?"

"Well- yes but I can't tell you who."

Wait, so that night meant nothing to her. Why was I so blind to see this coming. But I am sorta confused because she's been giving hints that this is love. Man Talon just focus.

Penny's POV

I feel so stupid, I couldn't even confess the truth to my own crush, wait a go Penny.

"Okay Talon, truth or dare?"

"Truth."

"Okay well ...

"Hey Penny, what's that in your pocket."

I looked into my pocket. It was a picture of my parents, I carried it everywhere.

"Its nothing, I don't know a truth so I'll skip my go."

"Okay Penny, truth or dare?"

"Dare."

Crap I know how this will end.

Talon's POV

Well I could dare her to show me the picture. Yeah that'll work.

"I dare you to show me that picture!"

"Uh Talon I..."

"Go on please."

"O-okay."

Yes, I can't believe I'm gonna see that photo.

Penny's POV

I took the photo out of my pocket and handed it to Talon.

"Who are they Pen?"

"They're my parents Talon."

"What happened to them?"

I hesitated.

"Well my mom and dad divorced when I was 4 years old and I stayed with my mom for another year or so. But she suffered from severe depression. Uncle Gadget says she handed me over to him and...one day she shot herself..."

I couldn't hold back the tears anymore, I began to cry and I felt so childish. The waterworks stopped when I felt a hand touch my shoulder. I looked up to see Talon staring back at me. He wiped the tears out of my puffy red eyes.

"I am so sorry Penny, I had no idea."

"No its okay, I guess I needed someone to talk to."

Talon's POV

I felt so guilty. I just made Penny cry. I gave her a warming hug and all I could here was a ticking sound.

"Penny, do you hear that?"

"That ticking sound? Yeah."

To our horror the explosives were lit on fire. They would explode any second now.

"Penny hang on to me!"

I grabbed Penny and we ducked down as the building exploded into millions of pieces. I looked down at Penny and then up and to my surprise, we were surrounded by a ring of fire. I knew his was my fault, I did kind of bring the explosives here. I kept hold of Penny and we cowered in fear.

Penny's POV

I crouched down under Talon's arms and feared what was to happen next. I felt a few shudders and the heat off the fire made me sweat a lot. I looked up and saw a pile of debris from the building come crashing down and it landed right on top of us.
