Amy's P.O.V

I watched in horror as the hulk started to destroy cafe Nero. people were screaming and running blindly in all directions in the street. I knew I needed to do something but for a minute or two I couldn't feel a sense of urgency because my brain was having trouble processing what had actually happened. I was held fast by the fear after that.

Norman's P.O.V

Amy was just sitting there staring at me, Why the hell wasn't she moving? I ducked a huge green fist followed by another; I couldn't keep this up for much longer. He would crush me... Suddenly I was in his grasp and being flung towards the window...Oh crap.

The side of my body connected with the glass which shattered in to a million tiny pieces instantaneously on impact. The pieces of glass showered over me as my head hit the pavement outside. Now Amy was suddenly awake and sprang to her feet instantly. For some reason, breathing was getting more difficult as my vision warped and darkness crept up and smothered me.

"Norman!" I screamed dodging the flying coffee cups that were being launched at me. Banner charged straight toward me. I stopped. I waited. At the last minute threw myself sideward and rolled over the serving counter. When I was behind it I called Astrid again; why wasn't she here already?
I dialled and waited:
"Come on come on! Pick up already" I hissed.
"Hello?" she said.
"Get here now!" I screamed into the phone... Banner stopped and turned in my direction. Oops.
"I'm running. We're only a street away! Stark will be there much sooner," she managed in between heavy breathing.
"help," I pleaded quietly. Hulk was still staring at the counter. He was trying to see if I would make a move...
Then the phone went dead.

Astrid's P.O.V

Once I entered the street where the coffee shop was I had to dodge the abandoned cars and wreckage not to mention all the screaming citizens. It made it considerably more difficult; Amy was potentially being killed and I couldn't go any faster. Stark was already suited up, had flown ahead and was already outside. I wondered if Clint and Natasha knew about this yet, I was not exactly built like a runner and I had hardly any breath left. I climbed over the front of an abandoned car and hurdled over several smaller other objects that had been subject to the hulk's wrath.

I was useless. What had I managed to do so far today? I basically caused this; it was my fault. I had accepted Tony's invitation and convinced Amy and Norman to come along... They wouldn't have been in this situation if I hadn't.

Amy's P.O.V.

I rolled out from behind the counter just before the hulk smashed it to pieces. My arm hurt and as I scrambled over the tables and chairs strewn across the room heading for the door I tripped. I looked down at my arm. I saw why it was hurting. I pulled out the two larger pieces of glass; I couldn't get the smaller shards out and hulk had finished with the counter now.

He launched himself at me.

I closed my eyes. Waiting for death. There was a sudden crash and then another roar.
I opened my eyes again.

Stark P.O.V.

I got there just in time. Amy was just about to be flattened. I flew straight in to the green guy; I didn't have time to think of another plan of attack. Hulk and I both hit the wall. I was amazed I had made any impact. I guess I had caught him off guard.Whilst I was getting up, Banner was dazed momentarily. I offered my hand to Amy, who took it and got up off the floor.
Astrid had finally reached the shop and helped Amy outside. Clint and Natasha soon appeared in the gaping hole that had once been the front of the shop as well. Since we were only going for coffee they had no weapons. Clint went over to Norman who was lying on the pavement. It was a miracle Fury hadn't already found out and sent back up. I guessed this was why agent Romanoff was talking into her wristband com.

Hulk charged toward me. I prepared to fire; it was a good job he was almost indestructible. Hulk barely flinched as I shot at him. Before I could duck out of the way he embraced me in a bear hug, crushing me in the process. I couldn't get free.

"Bruce?!" i gasped, "I can't breathe"

i couldn't move my arms up to get a better chance of using my repulsors to cause him to release his grip on me. Jarvis was telling me that the armour was losing strength as I was being squashed like a coke can in his grip.
"Banner. Please. Stop. Dude your killing me!" I said knowing it wouldn't make any difference what so ever. I went floppy in his arms. 'Iron man, he unfortunately died from being bear-hugged to hard'. Why couldn't this without me losing more of my dignity? Banner ran out into the street, still clutching me in one hand. I really needed to design a suit capable of handling this. Thoughts of the ending of the King Kong movie flashed through my head as he started to climb the apartment block above the destroyed coffee shop. The more I struggled the more he gripped me tightly.

Suddenly I heard the familiar roar of a quinjet and saw Cap jump out of it, landing on the roof.
"Need a hand?" He asked. Clearly enjoying this.
"You think?" I retorted, being shaken around yet again.
"Don't worry princess, i'll save you!" Cried Steve laughing.
I paused and when he didn't move yet I shouted "Now would be good!"

Steve threw his shield at hulks head and it connected with a loud reverberating clanging noise.
Now hulk was really awake. He roared and dropped me head first off the side of the building. I immediately powered up the thrusters and shot back up to help Cap as he launched more attacks on the charging hulk. I fired my left repulsor but my right had been destroyed when he grabbed my arm. Damn it, more repair work to do and... I was supposed to have a date with Pepper tonight.

Just then Natasha appeared, on the ledge of one of the top floor windows.
"Catch this!" She yelled tossing a rifle upwards.
I flew to grab it but didn't see what use it would be.
"Shoot him with it. Just do it Tony!" She yelled.
I took aim and fired. I didn't miss my mark.
He let out another roar before stumbling and starting to fall backwards. Luckily he had already started to shift back to the doctor Banner we all knew so that he landed on the roof as opposed to falling off the side.
We all sighed in relief.
