Chapter 22: Amusement Park

Congrats to @tahreem194 for this chapter!! I hope you guys enjoy her amazing work. I did go in and change a couple things but, most of it was all her work. I am so proud of you!!

"Where are we going to go"I ask,then suddenly an idea stuck me. "Let's go to the local amusement park"

"I--"I interrupted him because I knew he wouldn't want to go to an amusement park

Seriously, Noel you thought JOSH would like to go to an AMUSEMENT PARK! Ha!

"We don't have to go if you don't wanna go. We can choose somewhere else"I explain, saying the last part a little disappointed because I really wanted to go to the park.

"I never said no, to not going to the amusement park. If that's where you want to go for a tour, then that is where we will be going."

"I thought you would not agree to it"I question him

"Why do you always think of me as a person who doesn't do fun", he frowned. He seemed a little sad but covered it up quickly. 

"I -- um I don't know" and the next thing I know, I'm standing on the tip of my toes and give him a kiss on the cheek. We were both surprised by my actions. I don't understand what came over me that made me give him a kiss. I need to keep a check on my actions.

Then I ran to my room saying I forgot to take a few things. Oh great Noel! Now he is going to think you are a psychopath. Why would you do that?!

 I've been in my room for like 10 mins. I didn't know how to face him. When I finally gathered up my courage to go face him, there was a knock on my door.

"Noel! Are you done yet?! What's taking you so long!? The car is ready"

"Yeah, coming"

I didn't want him to be angry at me for making him wait any longer. So I quickly opened the door and there he was leaning against the wall, his head buried in his cell phone. I looked him up and down, I was so surprised to see what he was wearing. HE......JOSH JOSH WAS WEARING CASUAL CLOTHES. This was unbelievable whenever I saw him I saw him wearing suits. He looked good in casual clothes. Seriously Noel, since when does he look good to you! I had been watching him with surprised wide eyes and mouth agape. He lifted his head up noticing me gaping at him.

OH GOD THIS IS EMBARRASSING! KILL ME NOW!

"You like my new look?"He smirks

"Nah, you look like an ugly baboon"I tried to insult him

"Your expression says otherwise" he says mockingly

"We can keep talking about this and be late or we can go to the car"I explained walking away

Why am I embarrassing myself when I'm around him? Noel you need to stop, HE IS A JERK!

So currently we are in Josh's car on the way to the amusement park. It was quite far from the hotel Josh and I were staying at. This wasn't really how I thought the "tour" would go but, I guess its something.

We were at the amusement park finally and we were having a great time. I thought going on a date-oh I mean a tour, just a tour Noel, going on a TOUR with Josh would not have been a good idea, because we never seem to get along with each other but, by far this has been a good day. No fights yet,no arguments. I try not to piss him off or spoil his mood because I think neither of us can put up with such drama. Just for a day, we both could maybe, relax ourselves from the stress , from the heartbreak , from the pain. Maybe we could spend this day peacefully. We haven't even talked about the "kiss "that took place earlier....I'm glad because I wouldn't know what to say.

"Can we go on the rides please?!" I beg him coming out of my thoughts

"Fine, you don't have to beg"

It felt a little weird him agreeing with me and trying to be nice to me. I think we both are acting a bit weird recently. We have been on a few rides. It was starting to get dark the sun was about to set. All those colors of the sky were so mesmerizing. It was calming to the nerves, it felt relaxing. The only thing that made me stop admiring the beauty of nature was hunger.

Oh god, I'm feeling so hungry. How do I ask him to get me some food? Does he not get hungry? He might be a robot.

"If you were hungry you should have just told me I'll get something for you to eat"

"Did I say that--"

"Yes you said that out loud"before turning to go get some food he added "and no I'm not a robot"

While he was gone to get some food a boy walked up to me. He is good looking, he looks like he could be eighteen or nineteen.

"You're very beautiful. Can I get your phone number?" he asks

"That's your pick up line? Seriously, you walk up to a random person say something sweet and ask them for their number"

"You are very beautiful. You look like you came here alone.  So that would mean your single but, don't worry I can accompany you to the rides" he replies

"I---"

Before I could say anything, I feel body heat from another person, who I assume is Josh pull me close.

"Excuse you, I need to feed MY beautiful girlfriend"He growls at the boy

The boy immediately ran off stumbling a few times. I chuckling, pull myself away from Josh.

Wait! What. Just.  Happened. Beautiful girlfriend? Josh's girlfriend? Me? 

"Beautiful girlfriend? Josh, I am not your girlfriend. Why would you scare that guy off like that?"I question

"Says the person who claimed to be my future-wife-to-be" he replies mockingly

"That was different"He looks at me trying to question my words "Never mind"

"You were hungry, I brought you some food "He says

He hands me the food. He got me a hot dog ,burger , and a lots and lots of fries! Yes! I start eating immediately.

I was so busy eating I did not see he wasn't eating anything, so I held the hot dog, I was eating, near his mouth. He held my hand and took a bite of food while intensely staring into my eyes. And that is how we finished the food. I feed the both of us...because he is such a baby. We had walked around so much, I was very tired.

"Can we go back to the hotel please"

"Of course, you look tired"He chuckles

We went to his car and got in the back seats.

"Hotel" he orders the driver

Now that we were seated I was feeling sleepy. I rested my head on Josh's shoulder, he tensed by the sudden contact and then relaxed.I was very sleepy so I could not control my actions.

"I had a nice day today, we didn't even fight" I mumbled quite sleepy

After a few moments of silence I was about to fall asleep when I heard "I had a great day too" and I felt him kiss me on the forehead "Now we are even" Then I drifted off to a peaceful sleep
