Chapter 43: Period

I walk out of the closet looking into the mirror. 

"Red is my favorite"

I jump a little startled by Josh. I look behind me and smile "I know"

He wraps his hands around my waist placing his hands on my stomach "I can't wait to have something in there"

I smile up at him

I want to have a child with him...many! I love this man...I want to have his family.  I want to grow old with him and watch your grandbabies grow up.

"I love you," I say "I can't wait to have something in here too"

He smiles big "Now?"

Laughing softly "Not right now. We have a dinner to go to but,-"I turn around facing him "We could try tonight"

He smiles huge "Let's get this dinner done"

He grabs my hand and pulls me out of the room running 

I laugh my head off trying to keep up. We run down the stairs and the front door.

"Someones hungry"Carter laughs as the others follow

"For some se-"

"FOOD!"I yell interrupting Josh

This man is too much some times

I order my meal and the waiter goes around the table. I look back at Josh and he can't stop smiling. 

I am ready to have a baby...right? I mean I love him and I want one. Just holding West and being his auntie makes me happy. I do feel sad when I hand him back...I do want one of my own. 

Josh looks back at me and leans closer "Are you OK?"He whispers

"Yes"

He kisses me on the cheek 

"I am happy everything with Alison is OK" I whisper back

"Her leaving me was the best thing, because of her I got you back, may be having a baby and am able to live in an amazing place with you"

I hug him from the side and we continue with our dinner with Jackie, West, Micheal, Hailey, Carter, and Alison.

"Thank you for choosing me"I smile

"Choosing you? You chose me"

"To be your surrogate...your girlfriend"

"I will always choose you"

I pull him close to me, with my heart beating fast. Our beating heartbeat together, our naked bodies glued to each other. I listen to his heart as we lay there. He slowly brushes my face with his fingers.
