Chapter 37: Birthday Morning

I slowly open my eyes, yawning, I reach over to the other side of the bed, only for it to feel cold and empty. I look over and he is gone. I get out of the warm bed, that I regret leaving, walking out of the room. 

"Josh?"I call out

I walk pass the office door and head for the kitchen when I hear glass break. Walking over fast I see Josh with pancake mix all over him and the pancake glass bowl on the floor, broken with pancake mix ALL over. 

"Damn you, I had a plan"

I try not to laugh...see I tired but, I couldn't help myself

"Ha-Ha, every funny"He rolls his eyes

Sobering up I speak "I will make breakfast you go clean up"

"No, its your birthday. I want to make you breakfast"

"But it's not my birthday, it's just a Saturday. I can make you breakfast"

"Noel-"

"Josh"I warn

"Fine"

He gives up so easily. He steps around the glass and looks like he is going to walk away when he grabs me 

"JOSH! YOU HAVE MIX ALL OVER YOU!"I scream hitting his bareback

"I will just take you out for breakfast"He states ignoring me walking to the bedroom

"Josh! PUT ME DOWN RIGHT NOW!"

"You are already a mess"He chuckles walking into the bathroom

Huffing he heads for the shower entering inside

"If you think I am getting in that shower with y-JOSHHH!!!"I scream as the freezing cold water hits me

He laughs so hard he falls to the floor outside the shower.

"You think this is funny?!"

"I do"He laughs 

I look around the shower finding something to use when I see a glass cup near the edge. I grab filling it up with water 

"Noel, that water is cold"

"Really?!"I chatter

I throw the water at him and the cup slips out of my hand hitting his face

Now it's my turn to laugh

I see his eyes go dark and I stop laughing

I scream running out, trying not to slip on the floor.  I hear him yelling my name not before I hear his feet. I run around the living room, laughing and screaming. 

"S-stop"I laugh

"You will pay little girl"

I make a run for the hallway but, he gets to me too quick. But, of course, with us being wet, he loses his balance, slipping on the water puddle we made and falls to the floor taking me with him.

"Sh!t"He growls

"Fu?K"I wince

I start to peel myself off of Josh when I see that his mad face is now a smirking face

"Wh-Josh!"

"You said the word, I am just agreeing"He chuckles

I place my face on his chest, blushing hard. This man does things to me
