I was wearing a fit-and-flare rose dress with tan heels and my hair loosely curled. The ceremony had started and I was hiding in the curtains trying to remain unseen.

God he looked so good. He was wearing a classic, black tux and his hair was nicely styled.

The music started and she started walking down the isle. She was wearing an off white gown that was shaped like a pastry.

My eyes went back to Dylan and he was smiling at his bride to be. He seemed happy, but I knew he wasn't. He wished it was me, I know he did. He missed me just as much as I missed him.

He had drunk called me several times in the last year telling me how unhappy he was and how much he missed me.

About 10 minutes went by and the ceremony was almost done. I zoned out and was thinking about all the memories I had with Dylan.

I came back to reality when I heard the preacher say, "Speak now or forever hold your peace."

There was silence.

It's my last chance.

I took a deep breath and stepped out of the curtains with shaky hands. All eyes were on me. Everyone in the room gave me horrified looks but I was only looking at him.

He looked surprised and confused, but had a slight hint of relief in his eyes.

I cleared my throat and began to speak.

"I am not the kind of girl who should be rudely barging in on a white veil occasion." I said talking towards everyone with my sweaty hands clasp together.

I then turned back towards Dylan and looked into his light brown eyes. "But you are not the kind of boy who should be marrying the wrong girl."

Everyone gasped but I ignored them and just continued. "You need to hear me out. I'm in love with you Dylan O'Brien. If you feel the same toward me we can leave together right now and never look back. But if you're happy, I will leave and you can continue your wedding and never have to worry about me ever again. I'm sure she's great Dylan, I mean she's absolutely beautiful." I looked towards the bride and she gave me a small smile with a few tears in her eyes. "But if you see me when you look at her then come be with me. It's not fair to her. She deserves happiness just like you." I took a deep breath while Dylan just stared at me with a blank expression.

He still hadn't said or done anything and I felt my heart drop to my stomach. I knew his answer and I knew that him and I were over. This was the end of our love story.

I felt a few tears begin to fall from my eyes. "Goodbye Dylan." I said and ran out of the church.

Dylan finally realized what was happening and knew what he had to do. He looked back at his bride and she gave him a sad smile knowing what was coming next.

"I am so sorry. I can't be with you when I'm in love with someone else. You deserve someone who's loyal and will give all of themself to you. I can't give you that." He kissed her cheek and she nodded slowly. "Goodbye Dylan." She said looking up at him. He gave her a soft smile and ran out of the church in search for Y/N.

When he exited the church he began looking around frantically when he saw her getting into a car. "Y/N! Y/N!" She didn't hear him and he began to sprint to her. He was too late though, the car had already drove off with the love of his life in it.

"Dammit!" He said running his hand through his hair. "Taxi! Taxi!" Dylan shouted.

I was heart broken. I really thought he would come with me.

By the look of my face, Y/F/N knew what had happen. "I'm so sorry babe." She said rubbing my shoulder while her other hand was on the wheel.

"H-he just stared at me l-like an idiot." I said through sobs. "God I feel so stupid." I put my head in my hands and continued to cry.

Once we got back to our shared apartment, I changed into pajama pants and an over sized sweatshirt and put my hair into a messy bun.

Y/F/N and I were sitting on the couch eating ice cream and watching Friends. My eyes were red and puffy and my breathing was still shaky from all the sobbing.

As I continued to eat my ice cream our door bell rang. "I'll get it." Y/F/N said while unwrapping herself from her blanket. I nodded and unwrapped myself as well to go scoop myself some more ice cream.

Y/F/N opened the door and there stood the one and only Dylan. He had taken his black jacket off and was now only wearing his vest. His tie was untied around his neck and his hair was no longer gelled up nicely.

Y/F/N smiled wide at the man standing in front of her. "Y/N there's someone here to see you." I groaned and began to walk back into the living room with my bowl.

"Well tell them I don't want t-" I almost dropped my ice cream when I saw who was at my door. We just stared at each other and I was lost for words. "I'll just go in my room and give you two some time to talk." Y/F/N said while awkwardly running off into her room.

"H-hi." I said with shaky breath. "Hi." He said with a slight smile. "Can I come in?" He asked and I just nodded and made my way to the couch.

I set my bowl down on the coffee table and refused to make eye contact with him. He sat next to me and I felt my heart skip a beat because of how close we were.

I squeezed my nails into my hands, a habit that I do when I become nervous, as I felt him staring at me.

When he noticed what I was doing he quickly grabbed my hands and I looked up at him for the first time. He gave me a sad expression and made me open my hands so that he could see them. His heart dropped to his stomach seeing the slightly bloody indent of my nails on my palms.

He brought my hands up to his lips and kissed them slowly. "I hate it when you do that." "I know." I said softly.

He brought my hands back down to my lap but still held them in his. "I couldn't do it. I couldn't marry her." He breathed out. "When you left I ran after you but you had already drove off with Y/F/N by the time I reached you. I grabbed a taxi as quickly as I could but there was so much traffic that I just got out and ran here."

"Y-you ran here?" I said surprised. He nodded slowly. "Y/N I miss you, and I've been missing you for a long time." "I miss you too Dyl."

He leaned in slowly and I did the same. Our noses were now touching and I could feel his hot, heavy breath on my face. "Can I kiss you?" He asked. My cheeks heated up and I nodded.

He then collided his soft lips with mine. I almost moaned at the feeling because I missed it so much.

He slowly climbed on top of me and held himself up with his right arm while his left was cupping my cheek.

He gave me one more kiss to the lips before pulling away. "I haven't said it yet-" He said trying to catch his breath. "But I love you." I smiled at him and gave him another quick peck on the lips. "I love you too." He smiled and leaned down to kiss me again.

I couldn't stop smiling making it difficult for him to make out with me. "Stop smiling! I can't kiss you when you smile." He laughed. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." I said and tried to with hold a straight faced. He just continued to laugh causing me to laugh as well.

After our fit of laughter, we ended up cuddling and falling asleep on the couch.

After awhile of not hearing anything, Y/F/N decided to step out of her room to check on us. When she opened her door she saw Dylan and I snuggled up on the couch, sleeping soundly.

She smiled at her best friend and was happy that the couple was back together.
