just finished reading the fault in our stars. i am crying my eyes out (present tense). it was horrible but beautiful at the same time. i suggest those that haven't read it yet to go read it. it's not like normal books...kinda boring at the beginning but it gets interesting.
love you guys for reading this far.

He’s been gone for nearly a month now. It sucks. Life sucks. That’s what kids use to describe homework, they honestly don't know how sucky life is. As I stand in front of these black iron gates without Steven next to me I heave a sigh and think to myself life honestly does suck, but I have to go to school sooner or later.
Or else…
As I was walking through the passages, alone, I came to a realization that I don't belong here I just don't fit in and not only here in school but in this world. I was interrupted from my train of thoughts when I felt something vibrating in my thigh....
Well that's awkward...
Wait that's my phone
"Hello," I answered. My throat was croaky, the side effects of the tears from last night.
"Hi, Rochelle. This is Steven's mother." his mother said. I heard her sniffing.
That’s never a good sign.
"OH! Hi Mrs. Thrashfield. Is there any news on s-Steven?" my voice cracked when I said his name. Gosh I miss him so much
"Yes. Are you busy now?" she asked.
-Driiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing-
There goes the morning bell. Guess I’m not going to school.
"No Mrs. Thrashfield, not busy at all," I replied sorrowfully.
"I thought I heard a bell. Are you at school?" she asked
Aaaw, she's worried. Bless her soul.
-Driiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing-
And there goes the late bell….nope not going to school at all.
"No Mrs. Thrashfield. That was just the TV playing."
"It sounded awfully close though dear. You might want to turn down the volume sweetie."
Steven had told me about his mom getting sidetracked but I never knew it would be like this…. This is terrible it reminds me of Steven so much. I can feel the tears threatening to come out
"I said I’m fine Mrs. Thrashfield," my tone was getting a little impatient, "now you were saying about Steven.”
“Oh yes, would you mind coming over dear. These aren’t news to be said over the phone.”
“Ok, Mrs. Thrashfield. I’ll be there as soon as possible. Give me 10 minutes”
“Ok, dearie. I’ll see you in 10 minutes then.” And with that she dropped the phone.
