Chapter Ten

"You're so rude"Supriya said as she came into the room, basically scowling at me.
"What did I do? "
"Really? You insulted poor Varun in his aunt's face, that's what you did, and you did not apologize"
"I did "
"Not to Varun, what you have done? And besides the only thing I remember you doing was hide your face with your purse and run off, "
"Was I supposed to stand there and face Mrs. Singh after insulting her beloved nephew who happens to be the boy I despise so much "
"Can I tell you something? "
"What... You were talking already, why ask for permission"
"You say you don't judghe a book by the cover, but here you are, you have little information about that star but you've already concluded his character, Is that fair? "I was so surprised at Supriya's question, why are we even having a heated argument about someone we barely know and hasnnothijg to do with us, I shook my head, grabbing my towel and toiletries and got into bathroom, locking the door behind me ignoring her question. I'm not in the mood, not now. Its Holi, I need to he happy, she needs too be happy, everyone should forget what happened.

"Hope you aren't angry with my aunt? "The little girl asked. I looked at her, and she returned the look, what should I respond to this little girl, I feel like cussing at that girl hut I can't, not with this little adorable one around,
"Should I? "
"I won't be sad if you are, I just don't know why aunt doesn't like you, she isn't always like this, she's too sweet and can't even hurt a fly, she can't even argue with Supriya, no matter what, if she doesn't like anyone there's always a reason, s please forgive her" the little smart pants was right, the girl looks simple, so much irritation to me should have a logical explanation. Nobody wakes up just any day and decides to hate someone, especially a star, did we have a problem in our last life,
"Okay, for your sake, only your sake, I woint stay mad at her, happy? "
"Yes I am, thank you... I'm gonna tell all my friends at school how super duper cool you are"I laughed at her, I doing know why but I got so attached to this little girl all of a sudden.
"Alright Sonia, you need to go to bed right now, tell everyone good night, "the lady said, whom I assume to be her mother. The girl nodded but pouted, she wasn't happy to be leaving,
"Bye"
"Yes and tomorrow, look for me, you can spend Holi with my family and I, where only important people are, "I told her, she hugged me tight around my neck and then pecked me before jumping off me, into her mother's hold and happily hopped away, giggling along the way. The walk to the rooms with aunt was quiet, she must he thinking about that blabber mouth, why did she evfen say those nasty things,
"You're thinking about what she said, right? "She gave no reply, "how do you know her? "
"Her social studies teacher in college"aunt replied. I fell quiet, "I don't understand why she said those nasty things, who the hell ddoes she think she is... When I have a million girls worshipping at my feet, begging that I glance, even once, at them, and she's showing me attitude "I spoke up letting my anger cloud me, aunt stopped in her tracks and turned to face me,
"I'm glad she hasn't changed, she isn't like other girls, am I understood? She should not for once beg to your feet, the day she does that, I will hold you responsible and the outcome you'll hate me, you'll realize that day how being alone will feel like, I'm warning you, doing try any stupid game with Kareena, doing play those dirty tricks you play with those dolls of yours, am I understood?"She unlocked her door and locked me out, what is with her and protecting this girl, and besides she is not my type, none at all, she's so old fasshined and the old age minded. I went into my room and shut the door behind me, Holi should please be something worth for my fans , itll help know their love no matter how long I'll be gone.

I was  woken up by a knick on my door, looking at the alarm on my bedside it said 6 am, why would anyone be here at this time. I stroked over to  the door and opened it still sleepy, yawning as Rahul came to view, he was already dressed in his all white kurta, his hair messed up but it still looked good on him. He pushed me as he said talked inside, heading to my closet,
"What the hell are you doing? "
"You're organizing an event like this and still sleeping at this time so you could murder someone when the party doesn't go as planned?  Now, don't make me push you into the bathroom, "he threw my  clothes  to me then pushed me inside,
"You've got inky five minutes, "
"Five wouldn't do, I have sexy fans out there, make that thirty or even an hour "I said as I locked the door, laughing, I could hear him lamenting and cursing nder his breath, I'm sure if  I'm not out early then he'll break the door down. Humming and playing around for a while I finally had my shower and got dressed in the same kurta he wore except that mine had black linings at the collar, the wrist and the sides of the trousers, I finally came out to see him using his phone, probably ordering them around.
"I The as thinking of barging in but you're out so... "I ignored him and stood in front of the mirror, there is no way he's forcing me out of here with a messy hair, I took all  my time to style it, you know, to piss him out the more, his repeated rolling of eyes made me laugh, and then I decide I was done when I actually was ten minutes ago.
"I've heard the saying, if you want to be late for an event take a woman, but with you,  you have changed the story, if anybody on  earth wants to be late, they should be sure to carry Varun Dhawan along, he can make you miss anything "I smiled at him, looked in my box and pulled out two browline vintage shades, handing him  one,
"Now don't be boring"I smiled, he returned the smile too, wearing the shades we bounced out, there's nothing better than having a best friend who gets you, nothing at all. 

"Happy Holi!!! " Supriya basically screamed our ears out, we had a pillow fight which took us to the hallway.
All the rooms buzzed with activities, evceryine getting ready, I looked out my window to see the color pigments and you water guns and water gallons set out, i could see people dressed in their white, after taking in the great seen of colors I got into the bathroom, being the last to have my basth, those two were already down to  their make up.  I came out with a towel wrapped around my body  and my  wet hair, sat on the bed and applied my cream and oil to my body.
"You're so lazy di" Supriya said while lining her eyes, I smiled at her, she thinks I'm going as simple as I do on  a normal day, well not today, I will handle myself perfectly and then she will be so proud of me. I looked at me phone, it was 7 already, and poarty starts by eight. I wore my undies and went down to my make up, filling my brows, drawing the cat eyes and applying a nude eye-shadow with glitter eyelining, foundation, powder, highlighter, contour  and glow with last but not the least my nude lipstick.
"Wow di, you do take lessons from me "she said proudly. I moved to my hair, I needed a free hairstyle, I decided on diffused curls with a peach hair band, I wore my white churidar with an ankle length anarkali suit with peach collar, wrist edges. I wore my bracelet, rings and earing with a chain and sandals. Tanya wore her red churidar and white kurta with red duappta and sandals while Supriya wore her white patiala salwar with white kurta and dupatta.  After admiring ourselves in the mirror, we took pictures of ourselves then selfies before stepping out, as we opened the door, Zara was about to knock  on our door, she had a tray in hasnd, her smile not fading, she looked lovely in her white lehenga chili, she applied a dot to our foreheads,
"Happy Holi girls"we did same to  her,
"Happy Holi to  you di"we went over to mother, greeting everyone a happy Holi, just then brother and Akshay stepped out, simple in  their white salwar kameez suit and sandals, brother had pushed up his sleeves to his elbow, smiling when he saw his two favorite siblings
"Happy holi bhai"
"And to  you"he smiled hugging us tight,
"Happy Holi Akshay"
"You too Kareena, ready for today? "
"I'm not so so sure"I said laughing, I totally forgot whose party it was, and remembering last night, I don't just want any form of contact with him, all of us headed for where the party held, drums were  head, screaming and shouting, people were already looking like rainbows, dancing, and yes, granny's favorite drink, her local drink was therezand the smile on her face when she saw it made all of us laugh. Just then Mrs. Singh walked over to me and applied blue color to my face,
"Happy holi"she said. 
"I'm so sorry about yesterday aunt "
"You don't need too be "she said smiling, she was on woman I always respected. I took out my colors and smeared them on her laughing and she joined in too, now it was getting exciting.
