Chapter Thirty

"Hello everyone," I said trying my best to smile and hide the surprise in me, that I'll be stuck not only under one roof buy many roofs with her, which makes me feel so suffocated and all,
"And ladies, please keep your cool, he's here to study, so please, keep your self to yourself," he said trying to make a humour and it successfully worked for him,
"Kareena Devhan?" He called her out, the surprise in her eyes widen once again, I'm as shocked as she is, I should've asked which school she went to so I wouldn't be as surprised as I am right now,
"Yes sir?"
"Please come with me," she nodded and got up from her chair, i tried scanning the large hall for the perfect spot to sit,
" you too Varun" he said, her eyes widened the more, gripping the hemming of her black dress, I could hear the snickers and gossips, this has officially been tagged the most confusing day of my life, I followed them both quietly scanning the school, we stood outside of the lecture room,
"Well, I suppose I don't have to introduce you two," he began, "well, he's a star from your country, and hails from where you're from, Mumbai, and also considering the drama you two have been putting up, " how come the whole world knows about this, it's even going to be weird with this guy, "so there's no one better for the work,"
"What work?"
"Well, he's a star and you're a dancer, and you're both my law students,"
"So?" I asked wondering where his madness is going to lead me to now
"So, first of all, I'm giving her the responsibility of giving you and your friend a full tour round the school, "
"When?"she asked
"Youre free after this class I'm sure,"
"No, I'm headed for the library after now sir, "
"Well, for today cancel that plan for my sake,"
"Sir, you cannot count on the both of us to be together without getting mad,"
"If anything goes wrong Ms. Devhan, then be sure to say goodbye to your basketball tournament this Friday."
"What! You can't do that, you're blackmailing me,"
"Call it whatever you want, I hope I have made myself clear, and secondly,there's a party for all law students this weekend, this shouldn't be new to you Kareena, and I'm fully aware that your smartass landed you in the students' council, so I'm hoping you carry the superstar along with you, this is solely your responsibility, I have alerted the president of the council, am I understood? "
"Sir, believe me, the two of us can not work out,"
"You don't have to , you need to and I'm serious here, don't force me to use your academics as a blackmail, you know I know how much you cherish it," he said, "good luck to you two," he said walking away, whatever just happened was like a flash, boom I'm here, boom she's my tour guide, and boom! We're working together, this is so crazy, she looked at me in shock, questions running through her mind, the door was slightly opened so the other students were staring at us,
"Listen, I've got way too many questions to ask you, but then the most important of all, what are you here? You're supposed to be making a movie, not sit in class, with me, under the same roof, living in the same house is torture already,"
"Listen, if I knew you were here, I would have gladly applied to another university, but here I am, so..."
"So you want to make our lives more like living hell, and now, now because this whole school thinks we're a "thing" " she said airquoting the thing, " that they've paired us up to work on the school dance, which is a big mistake, they don't know the huge disaster awaiting them with the both of us..." she's right, we spark when we're anywhere close to each other,
"I think the vice chancellor's gone you guys," Professor Philip said, turning to look inside, all eyes were still focused on us, we silently walked in.
"Varuun"

"Youre so cute Varun"
"Varuunnn" well, it may be a disaster with her, but loving fans helps the situation, I gracefully smiled walking towards an empty seat in front,
"Varun Dhawan, welcome to my class, I'm.."
"He's Professor Philip, he doesn't know how to teach but give notes, you'll be bored to death with him, " someone spoke up, a dark skinned fellow, "I'm Thomas by the way"
"Well Tom, you've welcomed three assignments for all of you, including the star," the groans increased, with laziness and anger, I glanced at her direction, she was in front of me, chatting with that same guy from the restaurant, I didn't like him, he's the reason I left the restaurant, but now, I've got to tolerate him all the way, which is gonna be the hardest thing to do.
