"Was that a Compliment?"

The front gate was crowded with soldiers running in and out but you managed to spot out Dorian, he was being squished into the door from the soldier's march. You slipped into the crowd, feeling shields bust against your back.

You snagged his hand and pull him into the bulk of the crowd.
"Watch the hair!" You hear him yell, you roll your eyes. The two of you made it out and down the steps without falling over.

((For this part, I'm going to use the companions I use, but y'all can change it))

You saw Bull and Blackwall near the main gate, it looked like they had already been in the battlefield.

They had dried blood caked on their armour. Their weapons had a dark-ish hue to them.

"Boss, you're here." Bull glanced at you and Dorian. "You too, Dorian."

You had forgotten you were still holding his hand until he rubbed his thumb against your palm, you let go.

You walk over to Blackwall, he crossed his arms. "So what is it?"

"A Rag-Tag team of Templars that somehow found the hold, and judging by the numbers they found out a while back, but no sign of Corypheus or the Arch-Demon." He grunted out.

"Good, well let's go before we lose anymore good men." you say looking at 2 soldiers helping a wounded one into the hold.

Bull and Blackwall ran ahead and charged.
((Also the weapon I'm going to use is a bow, but you can change it))

You readied your bow, and looked for a high area. The only thing close enough was a watchtower, you started to head that way but something held you back, you felt Dorian put a hand on your shoulder.

"Be careful, I don't trust that watchtower. There's many ways to get that thing to fall, and I believe they'll try every option." There was sorrow in his eyes.

"I will." You smile lightly and head towards the tower.

It creaked and rocked every step you climbed. It was an old tower that has been neglected of repairs since the inquisition has been here.

You reached the top and started to aim, you smirk as you shoot the templar in front of Bull, knowing it'll make him mad. The arrow stuck the soldier in the rib making him fall, Bull looked up at you and you could see the anger from the tower.

The tower started to shake, you look down to see Templars slashing at the wooden posts, you pull back on the drawstring and aim but you missed. Again. Missed. Again. Hit the helmet of one.

You lost sight of everyone, you were all alone, no back-up to help. You were running out of arrows and the Templars broke a post, leaving only 3 left, but they were close to breaking the next one, and if that one breaks the structure will fall with you in it.

You fire one of your last arrows straight into the head of the soldier. He fell down but, the others still slashed at the wood.

Boom..
Boom..
Boom..
Crack....
The tower began to fall, you look out to see the sea of soldiers falling, some had a strange aura around them. They were running away.

In the middle of the crowd stood Dorian. The tower cracked loudly and you saw heads turn, Bull's, Blackwall's, and Dorian's. They were going to watch you die.

The last thing you saw before the tower came crashing down was Dorian, he was beating anything that got in his way. He was running over to try and save you, but he was too late.

You had enough time to make a brief prayer to the Maker until your vision faded and the tower fell. Crushing a few Templars in the process.

No... he thought. He never listens to me... Dorian rushed to the tower. He cast a barrier around him and the tower.
