You woke up in the middle of the night, a cold sweat stuck to your skin.

The nightmares were getting worse.

They were at the point that you were lucky if you woke up and didn't throw up, and it seemed tonight was one of those nights.

You look over to see Dorian still asleep.  The blanket was pulled up to his face so all you saw was his forehead up and the soft movement from his breathing.

Sitting on the bed wasn't going to do anything, you need air, you felt too crampt. It was hard to breathe.

You got out of the bed and attempted to walk to the balcony but a surge of immense pain hit your arm. Green sparks fluttered from the mark, you fell on your knees holding your arm. It was a hot white pain, it hurt to touch, to move, to do anything. You could only lay on the floor with your slient weeps.

The bed creaked and you painfully looked over to see Dorian's eyes glisten from the green light. He was awake now.

"Vishante Kaffas Amatus!" He got off the bed, almost tripping over the blanket he threw off. He fell on his knees and put you in his lap, he held your arm gently. He didn't know what to do.

Your veins started to glow green, the mark was spreading again. Your mouth was agaped, but no noise was coming out. Tears stung your eyes. It felt like you were going to die.

Dorian started to panic. He held your cheek. "Stay with me, love. Come on you big idiot." His voice started to break. He was... crying.

You wanted to speak but you couldn't. Everytime you tried to say something it came out in squeeks. They were quiet compared to the loud crackling of the mark.

Your vision became blurry and faint. All noises were quiet. The world around you was mute. You could only see Dorian's mouth move, but you couldn't hear him.

The tear rolling down his cheek was the last thing you saw before you blacked out.

You woke up to... nothing it was quiet still. No one was making any noise, no one was even in your room. It was just you. It felt weird.

The entire day felt weird.

Maybe it was cause you couldnt find Dorian anywhere...

Hopefully he is not mad with me... you thought.

You stumbled around Skyhold then you saw the one who could probably help you the most, Cole.

"Cole, I need a favor." You look at the pale boy.

"Hurt. Alone. Wishing he were back home. His heart aches." He began to mumble.

"Cole?" you wave your hand in front of him to try and break him out of the trance. He looked up at you.

"He is all alone. Out in the Hitherlands, he left to clean his mind. He believes you are gone."

The world stopped slowly. Trying to keep your calm, you told the others that you were just going to check on the Crossroads.

As soon as you left the gate your mind began to flood with horrible thoughts. The ride wasnt too long by horse, by the time you got there it was mid afternoon. You wanted to yell for him but that would be a terrible idea.

You looked for signs that might lead you to where he is.

Nothing.

You head to one of the few camps set up. If we was out here you were going to find him.

You took some supplies and a small tent from the site.

It was going to be a long day, the sun already started to set behind the snowy mountains.
