A fennec... it was a fennec.

The creature looked at you with eyes you've never seen, they were glazed over and were glowing with what moonlight came through the trees.

It was frozen there, watching you with those milky eyes.

You noticed it's ears had pricked up, but there was no noise, well noise you could hear. It darted away, the image of its eyes burned into you. Instead of the light it shined, the one that were burned were a coal black, shiny, jade.

The eyes were like gems while the rest of it was the same fennec colour. A cool like grey with speckles of black and brown.

It was like nothing you've seen, you've seen fennecs all the time but this one was different...

Noice filled you ear, countless people yelling your name.

"Why do they need me?" You mumble to the woods thinking they would respond.

Their response was only slight noise made by tree leaves in the wind.

Sighing, you got up and headed for the opening. The image of the fennec was still in your memory.

Once you got out of the small woods. They saw you.

"Inquisitor! Where have you been?" Asked Josephine.

"I was just walking the courtyard, getting some air." You mumble, you noticed a small smile form on her face.

"He's been here for hours. He's been waiting for you." She clasped her hands together.

"Who is?" You look at her, your eyebrows knotted.

"You big doat, Dorian!" Bull said. It was one of the few things you've heard him say since he's been here, he used to love talking... now he's quiet... Well maybe that's what you saw. For all you know he could have been talking everyone's head off while you were gone.

"Did you just call me... A Doat?" You snicker quietly.

"Its nicer than what I could call you." He shook his head he almost knocked Herah out with his horns.

"Watch it kadan." She mumbled. "I'd hate to lose an eye." She was clearly making full of Bull

"That was cold." You laugh. She looked at you and smiled, actually smiled.

"I know, that was the point." She whispered.

"I'm right here you two." Bull gruffed.

"We're aware." She spoke softly. For a woman who is intimidating on the battlefield, she was so quiet and polite during events or just anytime.

You went up the stairs and into the main hall. To your surprise it was empty. Maybe he didn't come and they just wanted you to come back.

"Ah, did he run off... damn he's been antsy since he arrived, he wanted to look around but I think he meant he wanted to find you. Try looking in his nook. He might be there." Josie said.

It kinda scared you, you've never heard her cuss...

But you listened and headed to his nook. As you got closer you heard voices.

A soft one and one you know all to well.

Once you reached the top of the stairs, you heart felt like it had stopped.

There he was, with Sera none the less.

They were playing that game... oh what was it "I'll say a word and you say what you think of them?" Something like that.
