As I was set back down in the Batcave, where the Batfam was waiting for me, Dick ran up to me scooping me up in a bone crushing hug. "Becca you will never ever ever go on a mission again." he said letting me go.

"That's fine with me for awhile." I said straightening my shirt.

"Becca and I have a few things to discuss about all of this." Grandfather said after checking in with everyone and a small hug from Father. They all left to dinner including Bart who was the last one gone after winking and running off.

Grandfather guided us over to the large computer and clicked a couple keys. As I sit down in the large chair, the screen lights up with a video with not so good quality. He clicked play and I soon realize that it was the Justice League fighting the Injustice League. The footage was a mix of tiny shots from tiny cameras built into suits and a few clips from city cameras. There were lots shots of Poison Ivy shooting vines out, some six feet thick and a Hundred tall. There were also shots of me fighting, which I realised were from Bart's suit camera. A little over halfway through I turn to Grandfather.

"Why do I need to see this?"

"Just another moment, you'll see." I frown and turn back to the video. In another minute I see what he means. There was a loud bang from a gun. From Bart's suit camera I see the Joker holding his gun out and laughing menacingly. I then see my body fall done and blood fall from my forehead. I heard Bart scream and try to run toward me but a huge vine came and hit him right in the chest, right where the camera was. The screen goes fuzzy and the video ends. I lean back in the chair and rub my eyes with my hand.

"What the hell happened?" I asked. My throat felt thick and my tongue swollen in my mouth. I felt like I should cry or at least do something. I was supposed to be dead.

"That was the last that anyone saw of you. After that you were gone. We were all convinced that the Injustice League stole you away somehow, but we caught them all in the end." a tear slipped past and ran down my cheek.

"We are going to have to run some tests but you've been through a lot. We can start tomorrow." I shook my head letting loose another tear.

"I want to start now. Something is wrong Grandfather, I need answers for this." he gave me a look but brought out a needle for taking blood. He took a little and injected it into a small vile which he then put into a machine that stated up.

"We'll have answers in the morning but for now, let's check you over."

That's how the rest of the night went. A couple tests and a call the Black Canary for a possible therapy session. It was one thirty in the morning when I dragged myself into my room. I laid down in my bed and drifted off the sleep.

Time Skip

I woke up several times in the night feeling sick to my stomach. There were also times I woke up in a cold sweat. Eventually the sun rosa and I got out of bed. I slipped on some comfy pants and a light blue sweatshirt. I ran my fingers through my hair and stomped down the stairs not really trying to be quiet. I made myself a bowl of lucky charms and turned on Netflix on the massive flat screen tv mounted on the wall over the long fireplace. I chose the Office, which I usually watch with Bart, and settled down. After the first two episodes, I was fast asleep. I was woken up by a heat source near my feet. I could hear the Office still on in the background still playing. I slight chuckle can from the heat source. As I peeled my eyes open I saw that the bowl had been placed on the small coffee table in front of me and Jason resting on the other side of the couch.

"Mornin sunshine." he said. I groaned and closed my eyes again still wanting to sleep a little more.

Timeskip

I don't remember falling asleep but when I open my eyes the tv was off, the bowl was gone, and Jason was gone. It was probably around eight now so I stretched and used the old clock to go down to the cave. Bruce was standing watching security footage from what looked like the bank.

"Grandfather?" I called out and he turned.

"Morning. The test results have finished and I haven't looked them over yet. They are in the file on the table." he pointed to a thin file resting alone on the table. I hesitantly picked it up. Even though there was barely anything in it, it felt like a hundred pounds as I lifted it and opened it. There were two pictures of cells and three papers stapled together. I quietly read through them all once, twice, three times.

"I-I think i'm gonna throw up." I said dropping the file stumbling to the trash bin by the computer and threw up the cereal I ate. Grandfather handed my a tissue to wipe my mouth and I took it reluctantly. He picked up the file and did a quick look over. "Cell regeneration. Extreme cell generation and so much so that the cells never age-"

"Immortality," I interrupted. "I have immortality."
