I wake up to the sounds of light snores. I sit up and see Sam still knocked out. I smile brightly at him, how cute. I stand up stretching violently and deciding to explore. I walk upstairs and hear conversation and walk toward it. I find the noise coming from inside a two doored bedroom. I slowly open it as everyone but Sam (obviously) is in there sitting around having casual conversation and eating pizza. They all smile at me, Jake wriggling his eyebrows at me, "up from your Sammy slumber?" He says winking. Colby slaps his chest earning a sad look from Jake.
I blush slightly.
"We would have woke y'all up to get pizza, but you guys looked so peaceful." Elton says while shoving a slice down his throat.
"Your fine i promise ." I giggle slightly and close the door behind me. I sit between Colby and Jake.
"So you and Sam are hitting it off huh?" Corey says smiling at me.
I blush harder this time, "uhm I don't know." I say completely knowing that I think he's attractive and a kind hearted person.
"Ah I see. Take things slow, good things come to those who wait." Elton says wisely.
"Uh thanks, and I doubt anything will come of that so it's fine I promise." I look down at my socks.
"Mmhmm okay." Jake says and rolls his eyes at me.
"So Alaska tell us your plans, what going to happen and stuff." Elton asks.
Nervousness approaches yet again, "I uhm, I'm not one hundred percent sure, I turn 20 in 2 weeks and that's when I get my trust fund that my parents set up before they uhm, passed. And plus now I get my Uh brothers so." I explain.
"How much is it if you don't mind me asking." Elton's responds.
My hands get shakey, I don't want them to look at me differently, "well uhm you see, my father was the creator of his own business in Arizona and it eventually spread to New York and other places, in the will he passed down his businesses to his partner but all profits go to me as if they were still going to him. So it's a direct deposit into my fund I get when I'm 20. It's uhm," I pause feeling embarrassed, "it's 250 million."
All of their jaws drop simultaneously in shock. "Follow up question, how are you homeless right now?" Jake asks feeling a bit sketched out.
"So, the estate that they left behind is going to my stepbrother who I mean to be quite honest hates me. So he kicked me out, leaving me with absolutely nothing until I'm 20, which I mean is very soon, but not the point. So I've just been traveling around Arizona, kinda just sleeping wherever and waiting till in 20, the. You guys came along while I was exploring the asylum I heard about." I explained.
"Fuck, your gonna be like loaded" Colby says with a smile. Oddly enough their reactions were them being happy for me, I thought they were going to be upset that I hadn't told them earlier.
"Haha, yeah." I laugh, "I'm looking forward to it. I'm excited. I'm just honestly so happy to have met you guys." I smile with tears welling in my eyes.
"Awe. You too dummy" Jake says and hugs me. The door creaks open and Sam walks in tired eyed and yawning.
"Hey guys." He says and sits across from me. I smile at him and he returns it.
"Well since it's 4 in the afternoon whatcha guys wanna do?" Colby asks.
We all stare at eachother, "well since we couldn't actually like film most of anything yesterday maybe we should go to the Manson caves and film tonight? Maybe do some rituals and stuff?" Elton suggests. Everyone nods.
"Well Alaska can't go, I don't want to risk her getting hurt again especially cause she has 18 stitches right now." Colby says and gives me a sad look, "I can stay here with you if you want, I can show you around LA?" He suggests. I smile, Sam gives me a weird look.
"Uh no, no it's fine I promise, you guys can go ahead I'll just wait here." I say.
"Well it's probably going to be an overnight thing so-"
"I'll stay, I'll sit this video out." Jake says. They all nod in approval, considering the video was for Sam and Colby's channel.
"Alright cool well we're gonna go pack and get ready to go, you gonna be okay here?" Sam says as everyone else piles out of the room.
"Yeah I'll be okay. Plus Jake will be here so it'll be fine." I say not only reassuring him but me as well.
"Alright, well if you need anything let me know okay?" He asks. He grabs my phone and we exchange numbers and he also sends me all the boys' numbers.
"Okay." I smile as he brings me into a hug and jogs out.
I take a deep breath and sit back down on the bed. I scroll through my phone receiving some messages from Connor telling me about his base and what not.
I hear the door slam shut and the car start as they drive away, Jake comes into the room smiling. "Alright loser, let's see what we can do today." He says, an idea pops into his mind and he jumps in excitement.
"What?" I laugh at him acting like an idiot.
"Lets go to the waterpark! The rain is gone and it's like 80 degrees!" He says.
I smile at his excitement, "Yeah sure, one issue is that I no longer own a bathing suit."
"Let's go!" He says as he drags out the 'o' in go. He grabs my hand and pulls me downstairs and into the car. He starts it and take off down the road.
"Where are we going?" He asks me.
"To the mall, we gotta get you a sexy bathing suit girl!" He says in a feminine voice causing me to die with laughter.
