Everyone disperses and Sam walks up to me, "Hey, so I was thinking maybe we could go grab something to eat? Just us? Talk about things?" He suggests.
I smile, "yeah that sounds good." I smile. "Let me get changed into something more appropriate." I say.
He nods and I walk upstairs to his room, I throw on a yellow crop top, a pair of frayed black highwaisted shorts and a pair of yellow converse. I brush out my damp hair and tie them into two Dutch braids. I apply light makeup and grab my phone. I go back downstairs where Sam waits at the door, "ready." I smile.
He nods and grabs my hand. We walk to the car and jump in and we head out, "so I was thinking maybe panda?" He asks.
My stomach growls on cue, "yes please." I smile.
He cracks into a grin as we pull off.
He sneaks his hand into mine sending shivers through my body.
We get to panda and we get out and he again clasps his hand into mine. We walk in and order our food and sit down in a booth.
"So, tomorrows your birthday b, are you excited?" He asks me.
"Of course, I can support myself and everything. I'm just hesitant on if I should move out ya know? I don't want to have to depend on all of you guys. Plus did y'all talk about moving out soon?" I ask as our food gets placed in front of us.
"Yeah, a few months actually." He says, "Colby Jake and I thought about getting a place together, since Elton is moving in with his girlfriend, and Corey's getting a place with Devyn." He says.
"Hey, maybe we can all get a place together?" I suggest.
He smiles, "Yeah that would be dope actually." He says, "would we rent or?" He asks.
"Probably." I say and take a bite of my food.
We make small talk and then we finish and walk back to the car, "do you want Dutch?" He asks.
I smile, "of course, I want a cinnamon roll iced coffee."
We drive next store and pick up our coffee, "maybe we could rent a hotel tonight? I was thinking that would be nice." He says.
"Sure." I say. We drive back to the house and walk inside.
Colby and Jake sit in the living room watching paradise PD.
"Hey!" I say to them.
They smile and look at me, "so we were thinking, ya know that we have to move out in a few months, we were thinking that maybe we should all get a house together?" Sam asks them.
They have an excited look on their faces, "Yeah that would be dope!" Jake says.
"Also we're going to a hotel tonight, so we can talk about this more later okay?" He says to them.
They nod and return to their phones.
I go upstairs and pack some things. I walk into the bathroom and lock the door. I take a deep breath and pull out my blades. I stare at them for a second before throwing them into the toilet and flushing them. A tear slides down my cheek and there a pound at the door as it swings open. Jake looks at me.
"What's wrong b." He says and comes toward me and pulls me into a hug.
I chuckle, "nothing, I just flushed my blades down the toilet. It feels, good." I smile.
He kisses the top of my head, "I'm proud of you." He says.
