Safety on the Barton Farm | Clint Barton

Things had gotten too tense at Avengers HQ, an attack was expected every day, so Clint had decided to let you stay with his family on the farm until the danger passed. "And here we are, home sweet home!" Clint smiled as he opened the door, dramatically sweeping his arms around the area as you walked into the living room where Laura was working on something.
"Hey," you smiled and waved at her politely when she turned.
"Hey, Y/n! Welcome to the Barton farm!" she grinned, genuinely happy that you'd decided to take Clint's offer and stay with them.
"Is Auntie Nat coming?" Lila asked, running into the room with a gleeful expression.
"She said she'd be visiting in a few days!" Clint picked her up in a hug and spun her around before setting her back down.
"I'll help you get your things settled in the guest room." Laura put down what she was working on and walked over, grabbing some of your bags from Clint while you followed her with the rest.
As she was helping you set up your things, she said, "I'm sorry you couldn't visit on better terms, I heard about how it was back at the compound. Either way, I'm excited you're here and I hope you have fun despite the circumstances of your being here. I feel like Lila and Cooper will enjoy having another person around to play with," "Thank you, Ms. Barton, I'm glad to be here too," you smiled, putting one of your empty bags in the closet.
