Clint tossed the bag that held your bow into your lap.
"Uh," You looked out the window, confused, "You do know it's pouring right?"
"Well so far there's no thunder or lightning and I haven't taught you how to shoot in the rain yet. So get some rain gear on and grab your quiver!" Clint smiled mischievously, obviously loving the rain.
You sighed, getting up. "Meet at the targets in five," You said, before running up to your room and throwing on some rain clothes; grabbing your quiver and slinging it on your back, grabbing your bow when you're back downstairs before finally heading to the targets.
Clint stood facing his target with his hands in his pockets, his bow nowhere to be found.
"I suppose you aren't going to be showing me any technique for this since your bow doesn't seem to be around," You said sarcastically, grabbing an arrow and stepping towards your target.
"Archery in the rain is more of a learn-it-yourself kinda deal!" he had to shout over the wind and rain.
You laughed as you nocked your bow, then took a deep breath and fired.
The rain distracted you, made your fingers on the bowstring slip, and your arrow wasn't technically on the target, but still, it hit the wooden legs and stuck there, rain dripping down its shaft.
"Not bad accounting for the wind," Clint said, still yelling to be heard. You smiled. "We aren't going back inside until you make a bullseye or the storm gets worse!
You grabbed another arrow and shot, this time at least landing in the target's outer circles. After about thirty minutes of you getting quite close to a bullseye but still not hitting it in the rain, thunder shook the sky.
"We should probably head in now!" Clint said, you walked up to the target and grabbed your arrows, putting them back in the quiver before running after Clint towards the Avengers HQ.
