Stuck In A Book |Harry Potter| Oc |

Once in Dumbledore's office. I had been expecting a lecture or at less so shaming but no. Not what happened. I was just asked to explain why I have a Tom Riddle following me.

"Well this should be good." Tom said smiling. I glared at him.

"Well I was asked to fix a book which was Tom's Diary, and now for some reason I can't destroy it nor get rid of it." I said holding up his Diary.

"I don't know why don't ask me." Said Tom just as Snape opened his mouth.

"Yeah neither of us have any ideas." I said.

"I see." Said Dumbledore "well then be careful please while I'm sure that you'll be okay but well."

"I'll be fine." I said.

"He makes me sound evil or something." Tom said.

"Moaning Murtle is your fault so." I said looking at him.

"So." He said crossing his arms. I rolled my eyes at him. "If I could drain you of life I would." He said pouting.

"Huh? You can't drain me?" I asked.

"Yeah tried it didn't work." He said.

"Is it wise to trust them together?" Snape asked looking at Tom.

"I believe we have no other choice." Said Dumbledore.

"Don't go into the Chamber of Secrets." Snape mumbled.

"I will go down their if I want to." I blurted.

"Why would you?" Tom asked looking at me.

"All of the Summer Program students have hidden places where some experiments or research is hidden." I explained. "Levi, James, and I all have stuff hidden in the chamber of secrets."

"What?!" Tom shouted.

"Chill we have permission from a descent of Salazar." I said pointing at him.

"Who is?" Asked Tom. I noticed that Snape began to pay close attention.

"Not telling." I said. Tom glared at me. Clearly unhappy with my response but I didn't care in the slightest. "Well if that's all can we go I'd like to study if you don't mind." I said. Dumbledore nodded Snape just looked at me. "Well goodbye." I said and with that we left.

"I'm gonna get you to tell me who it is." Tom said as soon as we left Dumbledore's office.

"Nope never gonna tell ya." I said to him walking about. "Now please go into the book" I said holding it up.

"It's boring in there though." He said.

"Do I need to get you a coloring book?" I teased.

"Not funny." He said glaring at me. I giggled this maybe the dark lord but still. Well it's Tom what can I say.

"Listen Tom I need you to stay in the book when we're in the halls and where alot of people can see you." I explained "I also don't wanna set off Harry."

"That sounds like fun though." Tom said smiling.

"No it doesn't." I said plainly.

"But think of how he'd react." He said.

"No one cares!" I shouted at him.

"Ow my feelings." He said holding a hand over his heart. I said there looking at him with a straight face. "What?" He said.

"You in the book now please." I said holding it up.

"I don't wanna." He said crossing his arms.

"Tom please." I said not wishing to argue or fight.

"Why do I have to?" He asked. I couldn't think of a good reason. I let of a sigh of defeat.

"Fine you can be out but be good." I said. He smiled at me, and that was how I knew I'd probably regret this later.

"That's no fun." He said.

*Later in the Ravenclaw commons*

I flopped on one of the deep blue couches hitting my head on the arm of it with a thud.

"Ow! Shoot why only me?!" I said sitting up rubbing the back of my head. Tom laughed at me. "Owie." I said my hold head hurting intensely.

"Wait only you do that?" Tom asked looking at me.

"Yeah...ow." I said the back of my head having a thumbing burning feeling.

"Wow." He said looking at me in awe.

"Ow." I said leaving my head be.

"You'll be fine." He said. I looked at him. Leave it to him not to be concerned. He is the dark lord after all. "What?" He asked.

"Nothing." I said looking away.

"Mint? And who are you?" Said the bane of my existence Olivia.

"Snap." I said.

"Tom Riddle." Said Tom plainly.

"Uh huh." I heard Olivia say probably looking him up and down.

"Why did you look me up and down?" Tom asked. Sometimes I hate being right.

"Don't worry about it...so uh Mint why is there a hot Slytherin guy in the Ravenclaw commons?" She asked. I didn't want it answer but I knew I'd have to.

"He came with a book unfortunately." I said holding up his diary so she could see it.

"I see." She said sitting down next to me. "Can I see it?" She held out her hand. I handed her the book and she began to flip through it. Tom sat there quietly who knew I just needed a we Olivia to make him shut up. Oh the sweet sound of not hearing him.

"So how does it work?" Olivia asked handing his diary back to me. Of course that got Tom talking. He explained everything once again and I explained what I had learned.
