"So what's your plan?" I asked my curiosity rearing it's ugly head.
"For you to meet Nagini." He explained.
"A big snake." I said starting to feel uneasy. He nodded pushing off of the bookshelf his book in hand. "Are you missing a few marbles?" I asked. He glared at me.
"No, I'm not." Tom said.
"Some could debate." I said shaking my head.
"Anyway I'm gonna have you meet Nagini." Tom said brushing off my comment on his sanity.
"I have a feeling that you're gonna get me killed." I muttered.
"Oh it'll be fine."
"Says you."
"Yeah, says me." Tom said sitting down in a chair.
"How do you know?"
"What?"
"How do you know it'll okay, how can you say that for sure?" I asked him. There's no way he knows for sure that nothing bad will happen. I recalled my fear. The fear I had felt awhile back. Nagini what will you do? I've seen, or well felt two different events in which I seem to have come into contact with her. An giant snake that could probably kill me if she wanted to. Tom took far to long to answer that it made me more uneasy.
"I can take of any problems that could...present themselves." He said. That was not very reassuring. Great job trying to make me feel better about all this, but you failed Tom, you failed. He opened his book on the table in front of him and returned to reading. I took a deep breath.
"I'm dead." I mumbled.
"No you're very much alive." Tom said with a small smile. I wanted to glare at him, but that joke was something I walked right into. He was right I was very much alive. I laughed quietly to myself. His smile brighten. I looked over his shoulder to see what he was reading. It was a book on ancient magic. On how it worked and how to..break it. Most of it needed it to be triggered first before it could be broken.
"Why are you reading about ancient magic? Most of it is extremely hard to preform. That's why barely anyone uses it." I asked him.
"I...I have a theory is all, about our situation." Tom explained.
"What's your theory?"
"That just maybe you casted some of it without knowing it, or that I can find something similar that could explain our situation."
"Oh."
"Yeah, and by the way we need to talk to Lucius." Tom said turning to look at me.
"Why?"
"So we can find Nagini."
"Oh." I said not wishing to actually meet Nagini. It's a interesting subject yes but in practice could end very badly.
