Most of the time you don't see the dawn but I saw it with Tom. Once again I would say it was magical, but the sunrise was just gorgeous. The sun reflecting off the lake. Tom was sitting on the shore, and I stood beside him. After a bit he stood up.
"We should head back cause, you little missy have classes." He said heading for the pipeline.
"Did you just call me missy?!" I shouted in shock.
"Maybe, now come on." He said.
"One moment." I said turning to the lake. "Hey Sir Seal come on." I said splashing some of the water by the shore. Then the head of a huge water serpent came rising out of the water.
"Back into the chamber with you." I said pointing to the pipeline."What the f-?!" Tom started.
"Bleep!!!" I shouted interrupting him. Seal slithered his way pass Tom and into the pipes. "No swearing." I said walking up to Tom pointing at him. He bit down on my finger rather hard. I winced as Tom's teeth drew blood.
"Tom let go." I said seeing red blood slither its way towards me. He grabbed my wrist and licked away the blood. When I tried to free my wrist he simply gripped tighter. After a bit he let go. "What was that for?" I asked. Tom grabbed his diary out my bag. He quickly flipped through the pages then stopped. He looked at me then back to the book.
"What is it?" I asked looking over his shoulder. There in blood was my full name. Mint Elizabeth Mandriff. "What the?" I said snatching the book from his hands.
"Hey!" Tom yelled.
"Explain." I said holding the book so he could see it. "Why is my full name in blood and written in your diary?" I said.
"I kept seeing those three names while I'm in my diary. I wondered about it. Why would I see your full name in the book? I figured that little blood test could tell me if it was because of the connection."
"How did you know my middle name?"
"Lucky guess."
"Why didn't you say anything?"
"I don't know."
"I really don't like you for this." I said pointing at him as I walked into the pipes.
"Why?" He asked following me in.
"Because that hurt." I said pressing a button closing the pipe off from the outside. Tom smirked chuckling. "What's so funny?" I asked walking down the pipe.
"Nothing." He said smirking.
"Liar." I said walking into the chamber. Tom walked behind me chuckling. We headed up out of the chamber. We snuck back to my room where Tom quickly flopped down on my bed.
"You sir into the book." I said placing the book in my desk drawer.
"Ugh!" Tom groaned sitting up. "I don't wanna." He frowned.
"Why?" I asked.
"I don't wanna be cooped up in some book all the time."
"Fair but there's not much we can do about it. Besides I need to change into my uniform." I said.
"Ugh." He groaned.
"Please Tom." I said. Tom looked at me as if thinking about something. I felt a chill run down my spine making me flinch. Tom smiled "Fine but we need to come to some sort of arrangement so I can spend more time out."
"Fine." I said holding out my hand to him. He shook my hand then disappeared. I let out a sigh. Then grabbed my uniform. I quickly got dressed then opened my desk drawer. I stared at the book for a moment before taking it out.
