I woke up without any pain. I saw Chester first. "Sleep well?" He asked. "Is it done?" I asked. "I guess. The doctor said that you can try in a week after you're fully healed." He said. "Tex was going to wait until after this cycle passes." I said. "He's smart to do so." He said.
The doctor came in with a nurse to check me out. "Two hours to go." Chester muttered. I had texts from all of the guys except Tex wondering how it went. I texted them back one by one letting them know they will see me when I get home. When it was time to start discharging me, it took another hour before Chester was taking me home.
When we got there. Tex was waiting. He opened the door as the car stopped and reached over to unbuckle me. Harris came out of the shop, Peter was nearby, watching. Tex picked me up bridal style carrying me. He took me to my house and to my bed.
Then checked the incision. He looked at it before kissing my forehead. "About a month to go now baby." He said. I laid out and sighed. He kissed my cheek before saying that he'd go fix me something to eat. A few minutes later, Tex and Harris both came in with a plate of food.
"Someone beat you to it?" I asked. Harris had a near smile while Tex did not look pleased. Harris sat the plate down before sitting behind me. "Can't use her as a shield." Tex said. "It's not my fault that you didn't say anything about making her dinner." Harris said. "Don't you need to finish that project?" Tex asked him.
"Yeah. Mind if I stay with her tonight?" Harris asked. I looked at Tex. "No sex. She needs to heal." Tex said. "Wasn't planning on it. Just wanted to keep her company." Harris said. I ate the food while Tex watched after Harris left. "I'm fine Tex." I said. "I know. I canceled my evening and decided to stay here with you." He said.
I pulled a pillow next to me. Tex got onto the bed next to me. "Do you want to watch a movie?" He asked. "I don't care." I said. "It'll be some action movie with a lot of gore if you let me pick." He said. "I don't care." I told him as I curled up to his side. He stretched out over my covers while I was under them. His body heat radiated through the covers.
I nearly fell asleep when the bedroom door opened. "Need a break?" "Bathroom. She's dozing." Tex said. I felt a hand sliding under my head and hold it while Tex slid away. When I rolled over, I met a hard chest. I curled up and fell into a complete deep sleep.
I was woken up by movement. I stirred trying to see what was going on. "Love you Honey." Harris whispered. A warm body came up behind me and gently held onto me. "Where are you going?" I asked. "I've got to get on duty. Go back to sleep. Stay here with Michael." He said. I nodded before rolling over and curling up with Michael.
"I'll be out before you go to bed Honey." Michael said. I sighed staying in bed next to him. I fell back asleep in no time. A hand rubbed my back. I lifted my head still halfway asleep. "Honey." I rolled over holding onto Michael's arm. Peter was in front of my face.
"Might need to get up." He said. "What time is it?" I asked. "Nearly two in the afternoon. Chester came in at noon to check on you." He said. "Didn't hear anything." I said. "Come on. I came looking for you. Tex wants to see you." He said standing. I moved away from Michael and put a pillow in my place before getting dressed.
I followed him out after eating something. I took a water bottle with me to drink. As I entered Tex's office Peter told him how long I slept. "Probably would have slept the whole day if you didn't wake her." Tex told him. I sat down on Tex's lap and yawned. "Still tired?" He asked. I nodded.
"Need to stay up so you can sleep tonight." He said. "Please?" I asked. "No. You need to stay awake. Thomas left a sign on his door for when you can clean his room for him." He said. "Know anything bout that?" He asked. "He let me clean his room the other day while he went to the restroom real quick." I said.
Tex hummed. "He's got it up today if you feel like cleaning it real quick." He said. "I just cleaned it yesterday." I said. "He's wanting to know if you'll get his dirty laundry out and pick up the clothes in the floor." He said. "Doc said no strenuous exercise." I said. "I'll help. He doesn't know bout the surgery. If he did, he would have set his basket out in the hall for you." He said.
"Your an a—." I told him. "I don't try." He said helping me to my feet. He walked behind me to Thomas' room. He unlocked it quietly. When the door was barely opened, there was a loud snore. Tex put a finger to his lips in a be quiet gesture.
He lifted the basket out while I picked up clothes. I left the shorts and underwear by the bed. Tex spotted something on the floor. It was a shirt I had yet to grab. He picked it up and looked at it. Then ushered me out. He closed the door behind me leaving me by myself in the hall.
I went back to his office and sat down in his chair. A few minutes later he came in asking if I knew first aid. I nodded. He had me up and had me going to Thomas' room. "I need you to stitch up a wound on him." Tex said. "Alright. If he'll let me." I said. "He will." Tex said.
