"Take her somewhere safer!" My dad shouted. I never heard so much fear in his voice before and I shivered.
"Daddy?" I began to ask when my mother suddenly shifted into a beautiful giant caramel brown cat and nudged me onto her back. She then started running at top speed.
"Mommy, why are we going away from Daddy?" I looked to my mother. I hugged her back tightly and leaned my face towards her comforting fur as the wind blew around us. My father soon became a dot in the horizon.
"Bad people are coming for you and Daddy is gonna protect you." She finally stopped in front of a giant house. "You have to stay here."
"Why? Did I do something wrong? I'm sorry Mummy please don't leave me!" I wailed, tears forming in my eyes. She shook her head.
" Honey, do whatever you can to hide your powers from all humans. I love you..." My mother hugged me , then shifted and ran off towards the direction of my father. "MOMMYY!!!!" I screamed as the world around me swirled and became dark.
