Catherine

I woke up as bright beams shot into my eyes and I got up. I changed and headed down for breakfast. The smell of bacon wafted through the hallway and using my cat sense of smell, I followed it, not trusting my sense of direction.

I found my way to the dinning room and everyone was already there eating. I grabbed my plate and sat down. "Catherine, you have to go to school next week. You will be getting a phone as well and Dylan will be fetching you to school with his car."

"But..."

"No buts Dylan." Mrs William sternly told him and Dylan just sulked. I finished my breakfast and excused myself and walked out. School huh? Is school really where there are bullies, nerds and other stuff? Is it as cliche books and movies say it is?

I closed the door and walked away, too deep in thought to see which direction I was walking. Suddenly, I bumped into something hard. "Hey there kitten, why you walking away so fast?"

I looked up and smiled when I saw a familiar face. "Hey there Lance..."

"Hi Cat. Getting comfortable there?" Lance smirked and I realised I was leaning against his chest. I quickly hopped away, my face again heating up. Lance chuckled, "When I said soon, I didn't mean this soon. Aren't you eager to see me."

I rolled my eyes as he wiggled his eyebrows. He continued, "I'm was just heading to the garden, want to come along?"

I nodded and followed him. I was eager to know how he managed to take care of the garden. We reached a patch of flowers when I barely heard Lance muttering, "Damn weeds..." before pulling out a few weeds. In the corner of my eye, I saw a familiar white puffy flower and I bent down to pick one.

"Oh god there's more pesky weed here!" Lance grumbled and bent down to pull the white puffy flowers. I stopped him and he looked at me, frustrated.

"Dandelions maybe be just a pesky weed but it gives happiness to those who needed it." I blew gently and little white dots flew out and swirled, before disapearing from sight. Tears started to cloud my sight when memories that I kept in the corner came bursting out.

I saw a teary little girl running to her mother. She had accidentally fell down and a small trickle of blood streamed down her leg. Her mother just smiled and blew on it. The cut had disappeared, as if nothing was there in the first place. The little girl had stopped crying but she held a little pout.

Her mother then plucked a white puffy flower from the ground and blew on it. White dot drifted of it and swirled around and the little girl now, is jumping around. Tears prickled my vision, those where happy times. "Cat don't cry, please..."

The memory faded as I pushed it back at the back of the corner and I came back to reality, wind blowing hair into my face. This time my hat flew off, a tiny prick in my heart and I stared at the drifting off hat. Why does everyone leave me? What did I ever do wrong?

"Cat, look." I turned and saw a magical sight. Hundreds of white dots swirled past me and through my tears I smiled.

"I'm sorry..." Said a voice beside my ear before everything when dark.
