September 26th, 1540

I followed Bash and Henry outside towards the stage where the execution would take place. When I got to the front everyone bowed before I looked towards the side and saw Lord Jonathan Tellis being dragged forward.

The children were with Lola on the other side of the castle as I did not want any of them close to this evilness.

"Your Majesty! Your Majesty please!" Jonathan cried out as he was dragged up the stairs.

"Hush! You have been declared a traitor to the Danish, Norwegian, and the British crown. How do you plead?" Henry called out and Jonathan whimpered.

"Guilty. Your Majesty please my wife and children knew nothing of what I did. Spare them." He said and I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Do you think I am that cruel Jonathan? I know of their innocence and have since banished them to quiet country life." I said and I watched the relief flood his face.

"We will ask one last time. Where is Elijah?" I asked and Jonathan shook his head.

"I do not know! We spoke only through the letters you have. Please forgive me, Your Majesty." He said and I stared at him.

"You betrayed me. I was your friend and I saved you from death and this is how I am paid back. I hope you burn in Hell." I said before I watched them begin to prepare for his death. When I saw the executioner I turned and buried my head in Henry's chest.

"Bella we can leave." He said and I shook my head.

"No, but I will not watch my first love die," I said and I felt Henry freeze before he wrapped his arm around me.

"It's over Bella," Henry whispered and I sighed as I turned around and saw Jonathan's dead body.

"First love? You and Jonathan?" Henry asked as we were lead back inside.

"We were thirteen and fourteen. Emili thought he would be a wonderful Prince Consort. I disagreed after being with him for a year. He was beyond abusive." I said as I felt the heat hit me as we walked into my office.

"And you never told me?"

"Really? Jonathan is one person! How many women have you taken to your bed?" I asked as I placed a hand on my hip.

"Alright but that was a surprise I never saw coming. You looked beyond angry when they dragged him up to that stage." Henry said and I let out a sigh.

"I trusted Jonathan with my life. He taught me sword fighting and where to properly strike a man who was in uniform. I never thought he would be a traitor." I whispered as my eyes filled to tears.

"He taught you more than that my love," Henry said as he held me.

"There was one quote he taught me and I lived by it. Before you dare trust anyone, you must first trust yourself, your own power." I said and Henry chuckled.

"Jonathan could be a smart man but trusting your bastard brother over you was a horrible decision

"Jonathan could be a smart man but trusting your bastard brother over you was a horrible decision." He said and I chuckled before the door opened and in came Greer.

"Yes, Greer?" I asked before she walked in with two more females. One was quite young with bright blonde hair. The other seemed older than me with tan skin and dark brown hair.

"These are your two newest ladies. Aylee and Kenna." Greer said and the two girls bowed to me. I turned to Henry who let out a laugh.

"I have two rules. Learn them quickly. I am your Queen and you are loyal to me. Secondly, any of you throw yourself at my husband I will have your head mounted to the wall." I said and they both stared at me.

"Henry, your sword please?" I asked and he smirked as he handed it to me.

"Madam Aylee, please step forward," I said and the blonde girl kneeled in front of me.

"Madam Aylee, you are now apart of the Queen's household and with that, you are now Lady Aylee of Bergen. With that, you have sworn loyalty to me and my children and my husband." I said before I brought the sword over her head twice.

I winked at her before she stood up and Kenna kneeled in front of me.

"Madam Kenna, you are now apart of the Queen's household and with that, you are now Lady Kenna of Hamar. With that, you have sworn loyalty to me and my children and my husband." I said as I brought the sword over her head twice.

When both girls stood beside Greer and I watched as she smiled.

"I am the head lady for Isabella. Since I am you two will follow the lead of me and do as I say. We have another Lady whose name is Lola. She helps care for the Queen's children when she is in meetings." Greer began explaining and I turned to Henry who shook his head.

"I never understood why females needed so many ladies." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"For different things. Greer is my head and she is there for everything. Lola is to help for the children. I think I will use Kenna to get the secrets of the court." I said and he nodded.

"The young girl?"

"I do not know yet. She is a young girl who I think I will keep under my wing."
