Chapter 47: Taken

Kimber's POV

Just when I started to run, the car sped up then drove in front of me in a way as to block me off. Holland and Marshall caught up to me just as the car stopped. I had never looked two guns in the face before and I was so scared. Death was surely coming soon. I still didn't know just what the hell was going on!

"Get behind me!" Marshall yelled. "Hurry!" He grabbed my arm and swung me behind him along with Holland who had just begun to cry and I was a bit worried that she might began to shake. Crap.

"Calm down Holland..."I whispered. Just then one of the men with a gun got out the car and I recognized him. "Devin!" I screeched. "What the fuck are you doing! You had better be lucky Mike isn't here, or he would beat the shit outta you."

Devin started to laugh and Marshall grabbed my hand tightly. "Fuck Mike! I hoped that he would be here to see me kill his beloved friend." Then he looked to Marshall and smiled. "But I can see that Marshall is tapping his sister's ass, so I don't think them to be friends anymore."

Huh? What the freak? Holland was the girl that Marshall was talking about at the basketball court. Mike must be extra pissed. I wondered if they had some kind of argument or something.

"Shut the fuck up Devin! You wouldn't be anything without that gun in your hand! Puck as nigga!" Marshall yelled. Holland flinched at every word he said. "And why are you acting all surprised? You knew we had to get you back from what happened at Mike's party. We couldn't be seen letting you or your little slut of a girlfriend live. Then we would have been considered weak. Now we get an extra girl. The one and only Kimber. If only your annoying white friend Katie was here. We would have hit the jackpot! But I guess you three are going to just have to do!"

Marshall pushed Holland and I closer together as if to hid us, but it wouldn't work. I was not the one that was going to tell him that we were all doomed to death. I was going to let him figure that out on his own.

Well I always wanted to commit suicide, but I didn't know I was doing it just being seen with Marshall and Mike everyday. Wow. God works in crazy ways. I guess this is my karma for having sex before marriage. I would have guessed that the soreness I was feeling was it, but boy was I wrong. What would my dad say about me hanging with a drug dealer and going out with a white boy who was destined to go to Harvard. My dad hated people who went to Ivy Leagues. He figured them all to be stuck up and think they were better than everybody. On the other hand maybe he would have liked Mike. They reminded me of each other.

"Shut up Devin! And they have nothing to do with this. Let them go!" Marshall yelled.

You get em Marshall.

Devin pointed the gun at Holland and smiled. "Tsk, tsk, tsk, I am sorry but I don't think that I can do that little mike wanna be. You see my orders were to take you to headquarters because the boss wants to have a convo with you." Then he burst out laughing. "Did you really think you could just quit selling? You are his bitch now! You can never leave!" Then he aimed the gun at me.

were the freak were all of the cars and people? That's when I finally decided to take in my surroundings. I looked around and almost peed my pants. In a depressed rage I had stumbled to the part of town where all the abandoned factories. Shit I did not even know that I had walked this far! Yep. We were dead,

I acted tough while the gun was pointed at me though. I mean, what would Mike do it this situation. "Your a little punk! Just gonna kill two girls for no reason! Coward!" I yelled trying to sound tough, but it came out rather shaky. Shit!

Devin laughed. "How about I don't kill you, but rather tap that. I mean I know that Mike is already hitting that and I am not gonna lie you have lost a litte of that disgusting fat! I wouldn't mind doing you anymore!" He licked his lips. "Maybe I am going to save you for my midnight snack."
