Karman's POV:

It has been a couple weeks since the group has come back together. Hershel wants us out because Carl is back up and on his feet. He has been really comforting with the whole Sophia situation. We have gotten really close and he has been making me feel better even though Sophia...isn't here. He is the only one that I have actually been talking to.

"Hey, Karman!"
I turned around and saw that it was Carl.
"Hey!" I said in return.

"Glenn just told the whole group some big news about the barn!"

"What happened?", I asked.

"He said that Maggie told him the barn is filled with walkers. The group is deciding what to do and, from what I'm hearing, they're opening the doors and they're gonna shoot them down." Carl told me. How could he be acting like this isn't serious. I look at him with wide eyes.

"That's not a good idea. That could be extremely dangerous for everyone here." I said.

"I don't know, bu..." in the middle of his sentence we heard Shane yelling at Rick and giving everyone guns. Carl and I look at each other and I roll my eyes and we both start to head up to the house to see what's going on. Out of nowhere Shane started to head to the barn and everyone followed, even Carl and me.

Shane got down to the barn doors and started to hack off the wood that's keeping it shut. Lori and Carol grabbed Carl and me and backed us up. Beth, Maggie, Hershel, and Patricia were all crying while watching all of their family members coming out of the barn and getting shot down. I couldn't even imagine that feeling.  Then all the gun shots stopped. Everyone was motionless. Rick was about to yell at Shane until we heard one last moan. Everyone looked up and some raised their guns.

The walkers foot came out first and that's when I knew....Now I know how Beth, Maggie, Hershel, and Patricia felt. The pain. The sadness. The guilt. The loss. Just every upset and unsettling feeling ever. Tears were streaming down my face. Everyone's guns were down and staring. Some were crying and some were just emotionless. It was Sophia.

I started to step forward when Carol grabbed my arm and I shrugged off her hand. I walked up next to Rick. Sophia was coming closer and closer. I walked closer to her as well and that's when I broke. I started to walk up to her faster. I shoved her dead form back.

"YOU PROMISED ME!!! YOU PROMISED YOU WOULD STAY WITH ME!!", I yelled at her lifeless body. "YOU LEF..." I was starting to choke and I started to speak calmer. I shoved her back again as she was coming closer. "You left me in this world...alone. With no one else. How could you?" I said quietly while pushing her back once more.

I walked backwards next to Rick and grabbed the gun out of his hand. He was frozen. This is only the second time I held a gun. I was terrified the first time I held it, but I know that if anyone was going to put my sister down, it's going to be me. I cocked the gun back and pointed it straight at her temple. It was all happening in slow motion. She was coming towards me and I couldn't pull the trigger, but I knew that I had to. I let out a whimper.
"I'm sorry..." and BOOM!!
I pulled the trigger and dropped my arm to my side. The gun slowly fell from my hand to the ground. My knees began to feel weak and I feel like I'm slowly falling.

Glenn's POV:

She just shot her. She shot Sophia. I wasn't expecting it to be her. I had tears coming out my eyes. I looked at Karman and I saw the gun drop to the ground. She started to walk backwards a bit and that's when I knew. She was breaking down. While I was walking over to her, she fell to the ground. She landed on her knees and started bawling her eyes out while letting out a huge scream. I dropped to her on the ground and started to cradle her in my arms. She was bawling and screaming. It's the most terrifying and gut-wrenching scream I've ever heard. She kept screaming 'no' and 'Sophia'. I felt so bad. I didn't know what else to do other than keep her tight within my arms. Everyone started to depart from the site. Karman, Hershel, Beth, Patricia, Maggie, and I were the only ones left at the barn. Everyone went back to the farm. We're definitely not staying here now.
