Karman's POV

After the argument between T-Dog and Lori about if we should go back to the highway or not, T-Dog finally gave in and turned around. Looking out the window. Seeing all the green on the trees as we were leaving our safe haven. Finally heading towards the highway all I could think about was if they were going to be there. If I was going to hop out of this truck and see everyone I have grown to love. At the same time, I was thinking about what if they aren't there? What if I lost Glenn? Maggie? Carl? What if we never see them again? I closed my eyes and rested my head on the dash as the thoughts were swirling in my head like a tornado.

Carl's POV

We've been waiting on the highway for what felt like hours. We're waiting to see if the others will arrive, but dad and Hershel keep saying that we have to move on soon. That we can't wait for much longer. "Dad, I'm not leaving here without mom. Without Kay."

"We can't wait here for much longer Carl," my dad said as he kneeled down in front of me. "It's dangerous out here. I have to keep you safe. I-", his voice was cut off by the sound of a motorcycle.
My dad stood up and we all looked over to see Daryl and Carol coming down the road. Following them was another car. As Daryl was parking his bike, the next car showed up and parked. Maggie and Glenn got out. Some hugs were given to one another, but there was still tension in the air.

"Where's the others?" Maggie asked everyone. We were still missing a big chunk of the group. My mom, Karman, Andrea, T-Dog, Beth, and Patricia.

"Did anyone see Beth or Patricia?" Hershel asked. There was silence.

"What about Karman?", Glenn asked. "Did anyone see her?" Still silence.

Glenn and Maggie looked at each other and you could see the tears in her eyes. She just got Karman back to have maybe just lost her again. I saw my dad start nodding his head. He quickly turned away and looked back at the group, "I hate to say it, but we can't stay here. We gotta keep moving. This highway could flood with walkers at any moment."

Maggie gave him an angry glare and said, "You're kidding me, right?! My kid is still out there along with my sister. You're wife is still out there and you want to try and leave. What if they come here and we're not here? I'm not leaving. Not until I know if they're okay." and with that silence fell among the group again.

Nobody was really talking other than Carol informing us that she saw Andrea for a moment and then Andrea was gone, so at least we know that one member of the group was probably dead or just flat out missing.
After more silence, we heard a car coming. Everyone that was sitting down, stood up. We all looked in the direction of the noise. Hoping that it was the people we've been waiting for.

Karman's POV

The drive back to the highway was taking longer than we expected. We were all sitting in silence. Then there it was. The highway. I never thought that I would want to see a highway so bad in my life.
As we drove down the highway, I saw all of the bent up cars and the dead bodies within them. I tried to ignore it and keep my eye out for my people. I'm hoping they're all there. Then the truck started to slow down and I saw a bunch of people's heads turned our way. T-Dog slowed down to go through the middle and to the other side to where they were. As his blue truck came to a stop, Lori opened the passenger side door and jumped out. She ran to Carl and Rick. Next, Beth leaped out and ran off to Hershel and Maggie. T-Dog opened his door and just stood there. I was the last to get out. As soon as my feet hit the ground, I looked up and bolted towards Glenn.

"Glenn!!" I yelled. My feet were moving faster than I could ever think of. As I got closer to Glenn, he kneeled down on one foot and opened his arms. I ran right into his arms and hugged him as tight as I possibly could.
