"Wait, so let me get this straight, you and my dad were together and then you got pregnant with ME.."

"Correct.", Maggie said

"I am not finished. Then you guys split up and you give dad full custody of me because Hershel didn't want you to have a kid cause you were "too young" to have one?!", I said with anger in my voice.

"That's correct," she said while sniffling.
"When Hershel gets back, me and him are gonna have a talk. A big one!!", I said as I was heading to walk out the door. Before I could make it out the door, Maggie grabbed my arm and pulled me back a bit.

"I wanna let you know that I tried to keep you. To have you live with me. I wanted you in my life since the day I found out that I was pregnant with you. My dad just didn't believe in me having any kids at such a young age and what made it worse was that my daddy didn't like your daddy. I have missed you ever since you left my arms.", Maggie started to cry more. I walked closer to her and wrapped my arms around her and she hugged me back.

"I've always wanted to know my real mom. I've always wanted to know why she just gave me up and left. Now I know why and I don't blame you." I unlatched my arms from her waist. "I do blame Hershel though and he has done so many things wrong. To hurt me. To hurt you. Like I said, when he gets here and helps Beth, I'm talking to him. I hate him. I do.", I said.

"You can't hate him forever Kay.", Maggie replied back. I walked to the front door and opened it to walk out, but before I fully walked out, I turned around and looked at her.

"Watch me.", I said. I left the house and was starting to walk to the RV to talk to Dale when a car sped into the driveway. Rick, Glenn, Hershel, and some random guy got out of the car. The random guy got out of the car with an injury and had a blindfold on with his hands tied up. Carl came up beside me and I glanced over at him. "What the heck is going on?", I whispered.
"I don't know, but it doesn't look good.", Carl stated. We both turned our heads to look over at each other and then looked right back over at the random guy.

~A Few Hours Later~

All of the adults had a group conference and were trying to decide what to do with the random guy in the barn. They are going to keep him for questioning and if he doesn't cooperate, they are going to kill him. It doesn't sound like the right thing to do, but that's what they agreed to. The group broke apart and I finally had my chance to talk with Hershel. Hershel was in the kitchen getting a glass of water. I stood in the doorway.

"Do you know who I am?", I asked him. Giving him a slight scare in the process. He turned around and looked at me.

"You're name is Karman. I know that much.", he replied.

"I'm Maggie's babygirl. Ya know, the one you made her give up?" He looked at me shocked. "How could you do that to her? To me?!", I asked. Anger boiling up inside me.

"She was too young to have a-"
"That wasn't your decision to make.", I interrupted.
"I know that. I look back and regret that decision.", he said.

"You should. I grew up without a mom. I had to grow up with an abusive stepmom. I needed my real mom, but of course you couldn't let that happen. Screw you. You have done so many things wrong. You kept my sister being dead a secret from us. You kept that barn full of walkers a secret from us. You kept my sister being locked in there a secRET FROM US!!", he was taken aback by my yelling, but I didn't care. I kept going. "and now I find out about this!! I hate you!! I will forever hate you." I stepped a tad bit closer to him.
"I'm sorry, Karman.", Hershel said to me with tears welling up in his eyes.

"You may be my blood, but you're dead to me." Tears were welling up in my eyes. I turned around and walked out of the house into the darkness and right back on to the RV. I felt bad, but at this point I was hurting. All of a sudden I break down and have tears streaming down my face. I laid down on the couch and fell asleep with tears still running down my cheeks.

~The Next Day~

I woke up in the RV again. I still wasn't use to waking up without Sophia being around. It's all still new to me. I got up from the couch and stretched. I walked out of the RV noticing that most of the adults were in a big group talking about something. I walked over and squeezed myself into the group of adults right next to Shane. Great.

"We need to start gun training. Let people learn how to use the guns we have, so they aren't putting themselves and others in danger.", Shane said to the others.

"I agree," Rick continued. "We just need to get Hershel's approval." I roll my eyes and spot Carl next to Lori. I walk up to them and start to hear Carl begging to practice using the guns with the adults.
"I want to protect this camp. I want to protect everyone here.", Carl stated.

"You are just a kid. The answer is no.", Lori replied. I sit next to Carl and just precede to listen to them argue.

"Karman would agree with me, mom," as Carl said that I looked up knowing that I'm being brought into the conversation. "Don't you agree with me, Kay?"

"It doesn't matter if she agrees with you or not. She isn't your parent. She's a kid just like you. Neither of you are in charge and neither of you get in opinion in this matter.", Lori replied to him making him stop talking and look down. My opinion might not matter, but I will state it.

"I know you don't care about my opinion, but I'm going to give it anyways," I said as Lori and Carl both looked at me. "It would be nice to be able to fire a gun in case something goes down here. I don't want to depend on the adults. I want to be strong enough to fire a gun and protect myself and my people."

"Like I told Carl, you guys are kids and I'm not letting either one of you fire a gun.", she said.

"I'm sorry Lori, but you might be able to tell Carl what he can and can't do, but I'm not your kid. I'm going to learn how to fire a gun. I'm tired of depending on people.", I replied. I stood up and walked into the house to find Maggie.

As I walked into the house I noticed Hershel in the kitchen talking with Rick. Hershel looked at me and I glared at him and walked into where Beth was supposed to be laying. I walked in and nobody was in the room. The bathroom door was shut and I could hear sobs coming from inside. I started walking towards the door and once I was a couple steps away from the bathroom door, I heard glass shatter. I ran up to the door and tried opening it. Locked. I knocked on the door and yelled Beth's name a couple times.

"Beth. Open the door.", I said. She didn't open the door. She just kept crying. "Dang it, Beth! I'll be right back." I ran to the kitchen where Hershel and Rick stood talking about guns.
"Sorry to cut the conversation short, but somethings wrong with Beth." I started to run back to the bedroom with Hershel and Rick right behind me. The started talking Beth into opening the door. She didn't, so they had to bust down the door. The door swung open and there stood Beth with shards of glass surrounding her and blood on her arms. My eyes widened.

"I'm sorry.", she sobbed. Hershel grabbed her walked her to the bed. I was too shocked to say or do anything. I turned around and walked outside. I walked to the Grimes tent.

"Carl? You in there?", I asked. I heard shuffling in the tent. Soon there was Carl standing in the doorway. "Hey," he said. "You okay?"

"Can we talk?", I asked.
