I stood up way startled. Just then another gaunt finger of MA moved. What was happening? Were they alive? I was in a state of ambivalence. All confused. With trembling hands and shaky legs,I ventured close to them.

I used all the power I had and shook them. They sat up straight and had an eerie expression on their faces. Though I wasn't actually expecting them to wake up at my wails but when they did, I squeezed them and hugged them as tightly as I could.

I couldn't believe my eyes. I just couldn't hold back my tears. Life to me seemed beautiful once again!

The feeling was tremendous . I got them back! Could there be anything better? Certainly not! I held their hands and made them walk to the house. As soon as we reached home, I helped them with their wounds. I tried the best I could to dress their wounds well. After a few hours or so, they even started walking.

Thankfully, their bruises were so small they I didn't even bother to take them to a doctor! Probably, They had just collapsed because of a little push. After all, they were 85! I was the happiest of all!

In the evening, we sat down for tea. Every time we sat down for tea and snacks, MA and Pa used to chat and giggle all the time. But, today, They seemed quiet! Very quiet..

Probably the accident which took place today had shaken them and strongly affected them mentally. I went close to them and laid down on Ma's lap. She passed her soft palms through my locks but then she shuddered a little and turned away.

A tear rolled down her cheek as I whispered softly, "Every thing is just going to be alright." I hoped that my consolations would make their hearts feel lighter but maybe, I was totally wrong this time. They didn't seem to appreciate it at all. They had somehow started to behave weirdly. It looked like as though they were afraid of something. Something troubled them.

After having the dinner with not even a word out from either of my grannys mouths, I rushed to my room, my eyes a little watery. I closed the switch and lay on my bed.
The strong breeze made the door open and close. The windows banged. The weather gave much support to the already spread monotony in my house.

There was thunder and lightning! But no rain! I heard noises like those of window panes being shattered. I disregarded all strange incidents and closed my eyes to get lost into the world of dreams!

Have you ever come across such monotonous days in your life?
Don't forget to make the little star at the bottom of your screens twinkle!
