Silica and the rest of the New Squidbeak Splatoon managed to inform the confused Octolings where they were and where they should go. They thanked Agent 8 for translating and asked to stay until they could speak the Inkling language.
Of course, it was getting late. Glad it was a Sunday, Silica set off, yawning every minute, to go home.
The moment Silica touched the doorbell, she realized how mad Silver would be at her for staying out after dusk. She rang the doorbell, and heard noises.
"SILICA! WHY THE WOOMY WOULD YOU STAY OUT SO LATE?! YOUR DINNER'S COLD AND IT'S PAST DUSK!"
Silica retreated a few steps, covering her ears. She opened her mouth to speak, then thought otherwise and closed it.
Silver ushered her roughly into the dining room, warmed up her dinner, and placed it in front of her.
"Eat." Silver looked away, muttering under her breath.
Silica ate her stems vegetables and drunk her orange ink tea, looking down in guilt, ears tilted downwards.
*time skip to the next morning*
"You have school today~"Silver woke Silica early, and went downstairs to make breakfast. Silica woke Cobalt up(let's just imagine what happened UWU), and got ready for school.

Silica reached Inkopolis Center, and heard loud music coming from two speakers on the sides of a large TV. Silica noticed that it was hanging above the entrance to the Battle Lobby.
"Heya Inkopolis! Ya'll better be ready for Inkopolis Center News!"
Silica noticed the Inkling speaking. She was wearing a spiffy outfit(not the outfit in the image below)

An...Octoling? spoke.
"You all know us, but I'll introduce us again. I'm Sora, and this is Nori...!"
Silica took a closer look at the Octoling, who was also wearing a dazzling outfit(also not the one in the image below :p)

Sora was about to say something, but Nori exclaimed "HOLD IT! WE GOT SOME OTHER NEWS~" as Sora covered her ears.
"Cephalopods around have seen a girl with an intriguing hairstyle, which inspired them to do it!"
"...Wait, Nori! I think I see her!"
Sora disappeared, probably leaving the studio.
Suddenly, someone grabbed her hand, and led her into the studio with Sora and Nori.
"EHHHHH?"
