Juanito, what's the Mata?

Chapter 7 - You win some, you lose some.

Emma was fast asleep on the couch, and I just couldn't sleep anymore. Emma had stopped by two days ago out of the blue. I was loving my new flat and the few weeks I've spent here. Pretty much it has been going to clubs with my cousin Carolina and choosing the outfits for the band. They have been getting a lot of compliments because they all look amazing and it's all thanks to me. Today I was in the mood to bake. Juan would coming back from Pre-Season and I just couldn't wait to see him. I felt bad because the Olympic team was a complete failure. Juan had been really hard on himself and I just tried my best to cheer him up. It wasn't really his fault, he had the entire weight of the team on his shoulder. I was glad that for the next couple of National team matches, he wouldn't be called up just so he could relax. That also meant I had more time with Juan.

Soon Juan would play his first match this season and it was against Manchester City. I wanted to see him play again, but I had to patiently wait just like everybody else. Later today I had to go pick up my little sister from the Airport because she was going to the match with me. I was all exited that I was dacing while baking. It seemed like Emma had woken up because I could hear someone laughing.

"I don't even know how Juan can find that sexy." She continued to laugh. "Like really, look at your underwear and that ugly shirt." She couldn't stop laughing and now she was on the floor.

"Shut up Emma." I said glaring at her. "Not all of our boyfriend have to be tall french men." She glared at me because I just hurt her feelings. I had forgotten Adil and her had broken up. "I'm so sorry, I'm baking cookies and you can have as many as you want." I said with a grin but she was still angry at me.

She walked towards the bathroom and left me standing there still mixing the chocolate chips with the cookie dough. She showed me the finger as she grabbed a towel and headed into the bathroom. Emma was angry that I was here in England and most of all because I was back together with Juan. I started placing the cookie mix on the pan when Carolina and Veronica woke up and served themselves some cereal. They both smiled at me because they loved my cookies. I smiled at both of them as they left the kitchen and sat on the couch to watch some TV.

They had been partying a lot these two girls and sleeping in late. Carolina now had her hair dyed hot pink. I thought it had to been a crazy idea but it looks good on her. Veronica was still looking for a job but with blue hair. I really don't think she will get a job with her hair like that. It was all fun until there was this very loud noise coming from upstairs. I couldn't even think with that loud music. I placed the cookies in the oven and headed to the living room. I saw Emma now sitting with Caro and Vero. She was still glaring at me as I handed her a bowl of ice cream.

"Can you guys think with that noise?" I said and they just nodded and continued to watch the TV. I really didn't know how they could listen to it. Between the TV and the music, I was going to end up killing myself. I pulled on a pair for shorts and wanted to check who had the music so loud.

For the past two weeks the neighbors from upstairs had been all quite. I never expected them to be so loud. I got to the lift and waited patiently. When I arrived, I regretted ever making this desicion. This has been happening to me a lot, I need to be confident of my desicions. I walked towards the door and knocked. Now that I was up here I could hear Coldplay playing. I knocked and knocked and no one answered. The music stopped and I knocked again.

Someone finally opened the door and I greeted them with a smile. The guy with short dark hair opened the door. He was only wearing football shorts that I recognized instandly. It took me a while to realize it was Oriol. This happens to me a lot because usually this players look nothing like they do on tv or photos. He was looking at me weirdly and I decided to speak.
