Yukino refused to talk about what happened with her mom, threatening to turn me into an ice sculpture if I ever mentioned it again.

It took another hour, we may have gotten lost a few times, before we found what we were looking for. At this point, I was ready to pass out on the ground in front of me.

We entered a doorway that was hidden at the end of a dark alleyway, a Brazilian man greeted us. I was secretly hoping that he was there to give us some food, water and a bed, but he didn't. He looked us up and down, said something- I wasn't focusing, I was trying to stay awake at this point- and Yukino answered him.

He lead us down a dark hallway- who's bright idea was it to make such a long ass hallways? It was getting in the way of my much needed nap.

Finally, the hallway opened up into a big, brightly lit room filled with a bunch of people. Great, no bed or shower. I was seconds away from killing someone so I could sleep.

Yukino must have noticed my sleepy blood lust, because she took Yarah from my back and held her.  I was grateful for that, not that I'd ever tell her that. Now I didn't have a small child preventing me from murdering someone so I could sleep.

The people moved away from us, like we were human repellants, as we were brought to the center of the big ass room. I noticed that the room was in a circular shape with several entryways that lead down more long ass- just guessing on that part- hallways. Two sets of stairs, one going up and one going down, were right in front of us. And on these majestic stairs, were four people in black robes with hoods that covered each of their faces. Wow, so mysterious.

"We have come to seek shelter from the 8 Noble clans who are hunting us." Yukino's voice bounced off the walls, and I wondered how she still had enough energy to even speak.

There was some muttering from the crowd around us. I remembered Yukino saying that we'll be found out as members of the 8 Noble clans the moment we got here. This was going to be a long ass day, and all I wanted was a nap.

"We are aware." Said one of the four hooded mystery people. I'm so descriptive today aren't I? "We know exactly who you three are," uh oh spaghetti ohs "the Hi no ōkami  Clan and the Kōri no Kuma  Clan have ordered you three to be killed." Will someone please tell us something we don't know? Please? We already knew that asshat.

"The leader has already determined your fates here." Said a different mystery person.

Hold up. Yukino didn't mention a leader whom we apparently needed permission from.

I saw Yukino tense up from the corner of my eyes. Yarah was still asleep- I was secretly jealous of that- in Yukino's arms, unaware of anything that was happening.

"You three are allowed to stay." Said the third mystery person. Me and Yukino both let out sighs of relief, we looked at each other and I could see how relieved she was- she looked nicer when she was glaring but I never said that. This news meant that I didn't have to raise- co raise I guess- Yarah while being literally on the run. Now we had some sort of security and didn't have to constantly look over our shoulders. There was more muttering from the people around us, soft protests and complete confusion. I just ignored them.

"Your apartment is down the stairs and to the left, number B14." The last mystery person said. I liked the sound of having an apartment, that meant a bed and shower, and a kitchen. Non of which I had to share with random people.

Yukino repositioned Yarah, and grabbed my arm, pulling me to the stairs.

Apartment wasn't the word that I would've picked to describe our room. I stood in a small room, a bathroom next to the door, and a big bed that was pushed against the wall. A smaller kid sized bed was at the foot of the bigger bed. A dresser and small T.V was on the opposite wall from the bed.

A door that was next to the T.V led to a small kitchen and dinning room- which was just a table and some chairs. There were no windows in any of the three rooms, just a framed picture of Rio in the kitchen. A picture. Once I got my energy back, I needed to have a serious talk to whoever designed this 'apartment'.

I tried to just pass out on the bed, but Yukino forced me to take a shower first. Jerk, depriving me from my much needed sleep.

I went into the bathroom and peeled my clothes off. It was caked with dried blood, and a bunch of weapons fell from the folds of the fabric- oops. Someone is going to have to clean that up... Not it!

I turned on the shower, to the coldest setting possible- don't tell Yukino that I prefer cold showers, I'll never hear the end of it- and stepped in. I watched as the blood was washed off my body, mixing with the water before going down the drain. I ended up finding a couple of leaf's in my hair from my good old trip out of the air plane, they were quickly thrown out of the shower. The cold water hitting against my face felt so nice, like it was washing away all of my worries.

It took a while to wash my hair, this place didn't have the right shampoo or conditioners, so it took way too long to get the blood that got into my hair.

I hopped out of the shower, turning off the water, and grabbed a towel to dry myself off. I noticed a pair of undergarments, a t-shirt, and sweatpants folded and placed on the sink counter. Yukino must've put them there while I was showering. Pervert.

I put them on anyways, the pants were a little small, only reaching my calves- I was a tall woman ok, around 5'11"- I would definitely have to buy my own clothes and products.

I stepped out of the bathroom, I saw Yarah sound asleep on her little bed, all tucked into the covers. She was so cute, I think I'm gonna melt from her cuteness.

Yukino was kneeling next to Yarah's bed, she had some folded clothes in her hand, for when she got out of the shower. She saw me coming over and placed a finger over her mouth, the universal sign of shh. She stood up, taking one last look at Yarah before quickly walking past me and into the bathroom.

I carefully walked to my new bed, I guess I have to share this bed with Yukino don't I, and climbed under the covers.

I didn't have enough time to apricate how warm, and cozy my new bed was, since the moment I was under the covers my eyes fluttered closed and I immediately passed the f out.
