We've been in Canada for about two weeks, and I was pretty sure I died from hypothermia. Yarah found out that Rashida was in the same class as her, she comes over pretty much every day now. I was jut glad me and Yukino had friends-Aliyya and Sabah-nearby. Yarah and Rashida had made friends with a 6-year old Mexican boy named Lucas Ruiz. Those three were inseparable, Yarah's room was filled with pictures of the three of them together. Yukino and I had spares in case we have to leave suddenly.

Speaking of Yukino, things between us have gotten much better. Sure, she's still getting used to all of this, and she only allows one cheek kiss a day and one on-the-lips kiss a week. But it's better than before and I was happy to follow her rules. I was patient, I knew that this would be a huge transition for her.

But Yukino got impatient and frustrated about a week ago. She hated how slow she was going.

"Why can't I do this faster?" She had yelled. Luckily Yarah was at school at this point.

"Yukino, it's alright, you need time to break out from the things they drilled into you." I said softly.

"I just want to do normal things with you," Yukino gripped a plate she had been washing. "But I start having a damn panic attack!" She threw it at the wall-it smashed into a dozen of tiny, sharp pieces. SAFETY HAZARD YUKINO!

"Yukino, it's alright." I said again. "There's no need to rush you're not ready and that's okay." The only thing that wasn't okay, was that plate.

"I just wish I was ready." Yukino sighed.

"I know." I pulled her into a hug. "I know."

Yukino was trying to be more patient with herself. Key word there was 'trying'. She got frustrated every other day, we were down about five plates.

We still had Alejandro problems mostly because he's a jerk who couldn't keep his mouth shut. I got some revenge when Yarah and Rashida decided to make him into a princess-they put make up on him, tied his hair with bows and painted his nails. Ha. He looked like the clown he is after the girls were done with him.

New years has come and gone, we spent it with Aliyya and her family. The girls were out by 9PM and we had to carry them to bed. At midnight I had given Yukino a kiss on the cheek, it was cute. We stayed up a little longer, catching up and all that. Until Aliyya brought up some interesting news;

"So, we haven't told Rashida yet, but," She looked at her wife. They both beamed happily, they are such a cute couple. "We're having another baby!"

Yukino chocked on her drink, I may or may not have screamed like a total fan girl. "That's great news!" I said as I patted Yukino on the back so she could stop freaking choking.

"I know right?" Sabah said, she looked so happy. I was so happy for them. Best first news for the new year.

"How far along are you?" I asked because this is my OTP and I needed details.

"Only about five weeks." Aliyya said. She placed a hand over she stomach.

"Rashida is going to be an amazing older sister." I said. It got me wondering, would Yarah want a sibling after she hears about this? Probably.

Now it was January 2nd, my birthday. Yarah was off from school and was having a play-date-still a little confused on what that is-every day of her break. I needed to go on a mission. I'm dying here. Don't get my wrong I love my daughter, but I couldn't take one more tea party.

I was currently watching-glaring-at Alejandro while he played with Yarah in the living room.

Yukino entered the living room, she had gone to get the mail, and sat next to me on the couch. She looked through the mail, tossing bills to the floor. The Order did own this building, but they had to pretend that they were a normal apartment complex-so the most logical explanation was to give us fake bills. However, Yukino didn't have to throw them on the floor-she barely did any of the cleaning. I have to clean it up now.
